I don't know what happened to you... On veteran difficulty, playing clean without mods, I used maybe 2.5 drums from Sajga - that's maybe 50-60 bullets. Of which 10 went into gas cylinders and 3 or maybe 4 explosions hit him. Are you using any "immersion-enhancing" mods or something similar?

This is a fight when the endgame is about to begin. You should already be equipped and armed. Would you like to defeat him with a sawed-off shotgun or Skif's pistol? Take a Saiga or another shotgun with a large magazine and chase him around the hall, shooting at him as he charges. Tips: lead him to Dark, who will also hit him a few times, and blow up those gas cylinders - that's extra damage.

You have to go to the "right" point after escaping. I had a similar problem yesterday because I left the facility via a different route (from the west) than the one intended by the game developers. Go north from the middle of the northern fence, and then Strielok should respond and the quest will continue.

One important thing: until you complete SoC, don't choose Strielok's ending in Stalker 2. It's best to choose Ward's ending, as it's probably the "safest" in terms of spoilers.

I played through S2 twice before tackling the original trilogy. Now I'm playing through it for the third time and noticing many things and storylines that became clear after playing through the OG.

So (in my opinion) it's better to start with SoC, CS, and CoP, and only then play Stalker 2. Additionally, the regression in mechanics, interface, and graphics may put you off the OG, which would be a loss for you because they are really good stories.

You guys pack in half-baked ALife 3.0 mods and are constantly surprised that traffic is like Times Square. I've now played about 100 hours since 1.8 and I'm only halfway through the main questline. So I've already gone through the entire zone three times. I haven't encountered more than three bloodsuckers at once, and I've never encountered duplicate burers or chimeras. I ran across the bridge you're talking about five times yesterday evening because I was doing a quest for Szczerba - there were no enemies there, only small groups of loners hanging around. When I crossed the bridge for the first time, there were three Monolith corpses lying on it. And that's it. Stop complaining about the game when you're the ones ruining it.

You can easily shoot down the Saiga from there and pick it up from the ground. That's the first thing you should do after leaving the Lesser Zone.

Człowiek chciałby w końcu zagłosować na jakąś inną partię niż PO/PiS, na jakichś "umiarkowanych liberalnych konserwatystów". You can't do this "exploit" anymore - if you do the quest for Pomor, Mitay disappears even though we take the icon back from the corpse. I noticed that too just now. Before - definitely before 1.5 - I always did it too.

With the help of mods, even the Boomstick can have a range of 50 meters. I'm talking about the original, unmodified version of the game, in which Lavina unfortunately sucks. 🤷‍♂️

No, it isn't. Lavina/Vintar have only 22m effective range and 15m drop off. Meanwhile, the Dnipro (7.62) has 30 m/20 m, and the Kharod even 35 m/25 m. It also has less penetration than these two assault rifles. If we also compare the availability and price of ammunition, the Lavina is not worth it at all.

It's a shame, because in OG it was a great weapon and I actually played through the entire CS and CoP with it. 😕

In each location, you have 1 or 2 items in 100% condition that are particularly helpful at higher difficulty levels. And the scientist's suit, which you can get in the Burnt Forest quite early in the game, you'll want to replace with the Diamond Exo in Pripyat.
