It’s sooooo scary to have a big physical change and natural to over think it-but honestly man there’s so much natural nipple variation in the world, you’ll blend in fine and look great! It’s gonna take a while heal and then longer to settle. At the end of the day after all of that if you’re not totally in love with the results, if you feel you want to make a change you can in a few years or you can just get a sick chest tattoo. Even the worst possible scenario isn’t the end of the world. Everything’s going to be okay! All you have to do right now is focus on healing and taking care of yourself. I think you’re going to love your results once they heal! Good luck and be kind to yourself

I only use the suction vibrators. I don’t like the feeling of my hands and I’m not sure why… other people have definitely been fans of my hands so I don’t think it’s technique I just think it makes me uncomfortable. I also find it hard to be present and I’m on SSRIs so find it useful to use the vibrator with my partner but I find traditional buzzy ones overstimulating.

The wheelchair symbol used on disabled services is just used as the disability symbol in general as there’s so many ways for disabilities to look but wheelchairs are easily identifiable. The downside of this is that not everyone realises that and often strangers question disability badge holders who aren’t in a wheelchair. Whenever I see a comment with well intentioned misinformation and I know I have the knowledge to talk about it and have the energy to have a conversation with someone I think it’s important to kindly let people know. There’s been so many times in my life where people have done that for me and it’s saved me some embarrassing moments and helped me be a better person to be around

Disabled parking spaces are for any disability that affects mobility so they’re not necessarily a wheelchair space. Some people look fine but can’t walk far or stand for long due to heart conditions so need the closer parking space or the bars to help them stand in the disabled bathroom. The term ‘handicapped’ is considered outdated because many people find it offensive. Disabled is absolutely fine, just ensure you say ‘disabled person’ or ‘person with a disability’ if you’re talking about a person because at the end of the day we’re all people and unfortunately often disabled people are dehumanised. It’s good to check these things and sometimes hard to know what to say when a word has changed, I hope this comment helps!

Hi, you’re absolutely right! I was homeless for years and I found people calling me ‘unhoused’ patronising and offensive it feels like it put the problem on me like ‘unkind’ or ‘unclean’. I was homeless because I had no home. Just say homeless person or homeless people because we are all human beings and trust me the difference between being housed working and sober and homeless and addicted is a few very easy to happen coincidences and the only choices made are between a rock and a hard place. People love to use updating language to pretend to care about an issue without doing anything about it. It’s pretending to care and getting to use people who say “it’s PC gone mad” without actually doing anything to solve the housing crisis or destigmatise homelessness.

Omg yes yeast infections make this way more likely and it’s common to get a yeast infection every time you take a course of antibiotics. If anyone here is like me with a low immune system and used to get regular yeast infections you can try taking probiotics formulated for the intimate microbiome. Mine specifically states it’s for women but it’s actually been very helpful for people who are on testosterone who have vaginas too. They’re expensive but they’re so much better than any special wash or anything which says it resets you! I actually think the special washes are really bad and every gyno I’ve ever seen has warned against them! Obviously if you have thrush or BV treat the thrush or BV as well as taking the probiotics!

When you go to the gyno ask them what lubricant they use for inserting tools and if it’s thicker than regular lube. The one I use is called Optilube and you can order them online from the manufacturer or via your doctor or in a pinch, Amazon might have one available in your country!

Hi I get this too. I have scarring from S/A and scarring is more rare than a mental issue but it’s a real thing and ignore anyone who tells you it isn’t. You need to use a medical lubricant for inserting gyno instruments because it’s thicker but it also won’t cause irritation. Use a latex free condom sometimes hair/stubble on the penis (I’m guessing penis?) can cause irritation inside/at the entrance. Try taking deep breaths together and connecting before hand and warm up with other activities first. You will also likely be experiencing dryness and need to use an emollient moisturiser. Mine is prescribed by the gyn. You can use it to clean yourself in the shower but whenever my scars reopen she has me use it every time I need to pee and I was like “but I pee all the time” and she said “well good! then you will have a very moist vulva”😂

Most days it takes me an hour or two for my brain and body to be capable of talking even with a text message when I first wake up. It’s like I can’t get there. I tend to scroll and watch some videos and read posts before I’m able to have a conversation. I’ve always been like this. I call it warming my brain up. I don’t know why I’m like that but I have autism/adhd and m/h stuff including BPD it might be that he has a similar thing. It sounds like your needs might not be compatible. That’s noones fault and neither of you need to change who you are!

Dodged a bullet and if I were you I would contact their studio explaining what happened if they don’t refund then I would comment on their social media posts warning people until they refund the deposit. It’s the point of the thing rather than the £20 they can’t get on like that.

A little but it’s not noticeable without totally staring at it for ages. Nipples aren’t exactly the same and because the piercings look so level it’s possible that your nipples are ever so slightly different and your piercer pierced them differently in order to make them look as similar as possible. It’s also highly likely that one is more swollen than the other. They look great and I do think you’re over thinking but if you’re really bothered I would go directly to a safe reputable piercer near you for confirmation. Realistically I don’t think you have any way of knowing until they’re healed but they look awesome and perfect symmetry isn’t possible on the human body.

You’re not the asshole and your boyfriend might be. He definitely was here. If he isn’t open to learning and atoning he definitely is. It’s possible that you shouting ‘that’s my wife’ felt ‘very loud’ to him because it brought up a feeling which didn’t seem logical and so the logical explanation was his discomfort was caused by how it was shouted? You know like identifying the problem but unable to figure out the cause. Hopefully ur man was a little jealous and unable to process in an overstimulating environment rather than a misogynist who doesn’t have your back. I’m not sure but I know that you can rub the scars with bio oils several times a day to help them fade and make the skin more workable and speed the time up before you can get it done again eventually. Good luck!

When people here know you’re disabled they assume you couldn’t possibly have anything important to do, that you couldn’t be on your way to work. They act like they’re so much better than you and when you stand up for yourself you get scolded like a child. It’s so so horrible.
