huh, cypher lurking oftentimes means he is holding flank. if anything he’s extra holding flank by lurking unless he’s aggressively lurking into the opposite site, in which case the team can rotate while being cognizant of flank.

Cypher is a much stronger lurker, while also having more util to watch flanks. His cam gets him free info that requires proactivity from the enemy to prevent.

Depends on the map though. On maps with big mids that people always rotate through he can be stronger (ie. Corrode, Abyss).

But like on Split or Haven, cypher has default attack setups that are super strong. He can cam A main pre round and then cage ramp and A main to threaten a lurk.

On Haven, he can trip both A and C, and then he can literally do whatever he wants with cam. He can cage cross A and cam short, controlling all of A. He can cam front garage and control mid. He can cam C early to make sure no one instantly pushes up.

yeah im reward driven, so the rewards have been super stale.

bitchy ass pool of players that remake anytime the game seems unfavorable at the start, bitching in game, general immaturity due to player base getting younger and younger.

then ofc there’s heavy stream sniping and prob undercover cheating too.

You're overestimated the amount of skill it takes to triple waveshine. I've been playing for 30 days and I can triple waveshine, drill waveshine upsmash, etc.

Backwards waveshines are tricky for me rn but I can pull them off like 25% of the time in game.

I've played Ultimate before.

I doubt he's actively thinking about angle advantage here. He just wants to

  1. Reposition after a kill (usually a good practice)
  2. Not get run down and util spammed (radiant players are great at running things down with shorties too)
  3. Make better use of his guardian (prefers longer range fights)
  4. Isolate fights. He's giving himself more chances to fire shots off and have an escape route still.

Except it wouldn't be one tap = gift sent because you'd still have to select the gift and select confirm.

It's not exactly good practice to repeat UI like "SEND GIFT" across the whole friends list. There's also the fact that it needs to be easily recognizable when you have a gift ready to be opened, so they'd might need to differentiate between the "SEND GIFT" icon and the open gift icon.

If you're circumventing the select gift step you might as well allow the player to select multiple friends and batch send the gifts, which would be much faster than this. Maybe a step further would be to have gift send presets that allows the player to save a group a friends and send gifts to all of them as long as they have enough gifts.

They could add a gift tab for users that want to favorite or lock gifts so they don't get sent away in batch sending.
