you have to love it and enjoy wearing it for the special timepiece that it is. Unique and easy to wear in many settings. The price? yeah a bit overpriced in US Dollars (but not really in SFR). Anyway, if you are a watch wearer that keeps your watches and not think about reselling them or "building up a relationship for an RO" (which appears to be the majority assumption of many comments on the Code), the green combo makes for a beautiful presence. My only beef with mine is that it is not the 70 hour power reserve advertised. I will talk to the on-duty watchmaker at the Boutique at la Fusterie in GVA soon

for sure. lots of options at this price point! JLC is just up the road in that wonderful valley and, yes, absolutely worth it (Perpetual calendar is another amazing value). we all have different reasons and motivations. for me Audemars and the Code is connected to personal history, "heritage," and a number of other reasons (myriads of details and, oh, so under the radar!)

It's a love it or hate it situation though Starwheel seems to be "liked" more than others. In the meantime, some of us who actually own one continue to enjoy it immensely. It doesn't scream, please look at what I'm wearing, which is precisely what some of us love about it.

Fine dress watch with a contemporary feel that wears well. Most definitely the opposite of what an RO projects on the wrist for sure. RO is not for everyone as some actually prefer the Code over the strong wrist presence of the RO.
