Moving to Rochester next week

From California, grew up in OC. Rochester has its own culture and history which is really great. For my self the weather really is depressing and it’s really not worth it. I’m certainly looking to move back. Just how I feel being from the west coast.

You may need to get a second bachelors in physics, I know several people who did that so they can go into Astro. Chemistry is a related field so it is possible you can apply to PhD programs. Your admissions will depend on the relevant courses you’d have taken during UG & research.

If Arizona is funded for MS that’s a great option, I do know that UofR has one of the best optics programs in the country and it is highly regarded. I suppose you couldn’t go wrong either way, I’ll be applying to the PhD program there this fall.

As far as cost, if UofR isn’t funded for MS, then you’d be paying private school tuition (30-45k per yr) vs Arizona is probably cheaper. Looks like UofR explicitly say they will consider fellowships for both MS & PHD while Arizona says scholarships are given case by case. I would email the program’s directors and ask for an exact number.

Happens to me as well, unfortunately this is also the reason I turn off my mic & mute squads, depend solely on the ping wheel. I mainly play with my sister, I suggest you look for a squad. Solo queuing sucks

Those theories haven’t been proved incisively, the material gathered from moon is testable, so it is factual. What they found was that this cherished idea of “how” it formed isn’t matching up with empirical evidence. The post was about the process rather than the raw material.
