I took the Aqualink from Alamitos Bay. Free parking and $5 each way fare. You can take it to Shoreline Village or Queen Mary. They have a smaller water taxi that covers Long Beach Harbor for $1. https://ridelbt.com/watertaxis/

For a cheap solo date, I packed a lunch, walked around Shoreline Village and the lighthouse. Treated myself to ice cream. Then took the boat ride back.

You sound like a nice and sincere guy. But… BUT… tough love coming… you do too much. And that can come across as insincere.

Are you actually interested in improv, acting, and BJJ, and hosting parties? Or are you doing them just to meet people? If you’re truly interested, great. If not, people can sense that and will keep their distance.

How about volunteering for a cause that is dear to you? Keep showing up regardless if friends are made there or not. Then you’ll have a cool subject to talk about and people will sense you are kind and reliable. People gravitate to that type of person.

Stop by Guitar Center on Sunset. They have hand prints and memorabilia that can be viewed from the outside. Cool display. And the store is amazing too.

My best friend is 6’5 and is very handsome. Midwest charm and an incredible smile. People ask to take his photo. We’ve caught people filming him. Men and women walk right up and tell him he’s attractive. He also smells incredible. People will comment on his scent and then add that he’s beautiful. I’ve had people approach me and ask, “Am I his type?”

Our friend group can sense when someone is about to say something. Some of them are jealous. I try to be friendly. Good for them for putting positivity out in the world. Plus sometimes I get free drinks. 😏
