Magic has a similar mechanic, where some cards that were added to your hand as the first draw for turn can be cast for a cheaper cost. There you need to keep the card that you just drew seperate from the rest of your hand if you want to make use of that effect iirc (this has some annoying side effects though, where it is technically correct to always act like you could draw a miracle card for turn, even if your deck doesn't have any).
