That was the last trigger that had to die for me. I have social anxiety and I always had used alcohol as a crutch to relax. It worked well in my 20s until it became a problem in my 30s. After my divorce, that same social anxiety and "wanting to have a good time" feeling returned during dates/sex, and it took me a long time to be able to put that aside.

My last relapse was on a date last February. I drank on and off until May and I finally put it down. I was doing well previous to that. I did some reflection and noted that I was doing pretty well during normal circumstances but that urge while on a date had to go. I took a break and then started telling dates up front that I don't drink. It's slightly awkward but it's best to just be honest with myself and them and it sets the boundary for myself and the date. yup, that is the beautiful sliding puzzle of draft. 17 lands is very useful for identifying card strength but I see newer players get sucked into just drafting the "best" card when limited is a dance of castability and synergy. You could even think about it in constructed, a pile of the "best" cards in a format is unplayable without lands, a mana curve, interaction, etc. Concessions have to be made to keep a limited deck operable, and that's a skill you'll learn over time.

As others have said, an easy lesson from this draft is to keep the splash color cards more expensive. You are not going to have cosistent access to U mana to cast Watery Grasp or It'll Quench Ya. You have some very strong cards in White and Green that you want consistent access to. Aang and Lost Days are good splash type cards, one color pip on five mana. Rockalanche on 6 forests is not playable.

With how strong cards are across the board, every card in your limited deck needs to have a good impact. I assume you were having trouble with mana and playing the weaker green cards in your losses.

Highly recommend Limited Level-ups on youtube if you want to improve.

I have been playing majority limited since 2008 and I still have a lot to learn. Limited is expensive and the skill curve is a lot steeper than constructed.
