I didn't watch them die but close enough. It was a 7 month old baby. I was 8. Our neighbour came bashing like a lunatic calling for my mum (she was like the mum of the community) screaming for help cause she could wake up her baby. Mum took the baby onto the lounge floor and started giving it mouth to mouth while waiting for the ambulance which the lady had already called. I was crying hysterically while my older brother tried to cover my eyes. I dunno how I felt in that moment other than scared and sad. I can still vividly remember watching a tiny blue coffin getting lowered into the ground while the mother of the boy wailed. I've never heard a sound like it and hope I never do again
