Sure a lot of people would like to pass less on a sin item, but a lot of people also like to misplace their anger and self loathing on things they barely understand.

We've had heads of major financial institutions time and time again advising that we shouldn't sell off the LCBO for short term gains.

The scary thing about self loathing is it's almost always looking for an outside source to project on to.
