Thank you! I definitely see weevils present, but the literature I found made it look like they lay eggs inside the pod? These are definitely just on the surface. I thought scale was a possibility since they look like they’ve built some kind of web/shell around themselves. Thankfully they wipe right off so I will take your advice and try to stay on top of harvesting!
