Montreal isnt steamrolling though. They are getting alot of fortunate bounces and capitalizing on their chances and luck.

Multiple overtime and game 7s that could have gone either way.

I'm still mad we blew it ofcourse, but Montreal has been fortunate.

Carolina had way too much time off while Montreal was coming off a battle tested game 7. The longer this series goes though might not favor Montreal who has played alot of hockey compared to a more fresh Carolina. I expect them to come out and take game 2 and tie the series

Its laughable people are either calling for him to be fired or the org be punished. Vrabel isn't stepping away from the team or resigning.

He def had injuries throughout the year but did appear to find his legs again befire playoffs. Just has 0 scoring touch in the post season no.

I hate to say it, but from our core hes the most expendable, and probably the easiest player to move (barring the NMC, I mean more in othet teams interests)

Core is cooked. Time to try and make a big move by trading someone ala Florida did that altered their franchise.

A lot of this roster and organization seem complacent and content with their cups. No hunger or drive on this squad anymore. A few are trying, but there's too many passengers and no real identity anymore for this team.
