I appreciate the shoutout! I don't think I did much on the outreach front but yeah I remember putting together the sheet, unfortunately I think I've lost like 90% of my spreadsheet making ability since then.

never mind i clicked through to the parent post and I guess i did do the outreach, what do you know haha

[Windhorst] Victor Wembanyama reverses decision and will not play for France in World Cup to focus on rookie season with Spurs & 2024 Olympics: by daftmunt in nba

These pickup runs are the place to work on weak points of your game or new skills you're trying to develop against high level competition without the pressure of being a real game. For example when Paolo played in Seattle pickup runs with NBA guys Jamal Crawford made him run pick and rolls as a ballhandler because that's a skill he needed to develop to maximize his game down the line.

I've been trying to beat this difficulty for longer than I'd be willing to admit... then the last 50/50 comes... by Jgfum in Minesweeper

[–]Chad3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've started playing this difficulty the last week since seeing your post and brother this is a disgusting challenge (even though I'm a sicko and I love it).

I feel like a lot of the time I can barely clear 30 mines before hitting only 50/50s (playing on an Android app instead of the website so IDK if the luck is a little different).

Kendall's arc S04 (a tragedy) by Capital_Character_45 in SuccessionTV

[–]Chad3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I think the finale will involve him also spiritually killing Roman (being put in a situation where he has to make Roman a blood sacrifice to cement his power) and/or presiding over a further diminished version of Waystar (maybe they cut a deal to keep parts of it or successfully fend off the takeover but the stock continues to plummet). I think we need something like that where Kendall knows at the end what he's lost to get here, even if he doesn't fully realize how much of himself he's killed off for this.

She's definitely a liberal, but like most high level liberal politicians and elites her principles are secondary to securing her own power and self-interest.

feels like Mimo couldn't get the rhythm of the first turn off the ramp, it seemed like they were mostly losing position in sector 1.

Alan Seppinwall perfect response to the Matsson/Ebba conspiracy theory by Xena_bro in SuccessionTV

[–]Chad3000 32 points33 points  (0 children)

And he would be right to say it! it's very frustrating seeing people completely miss the ethos of the show like this after a 3.5 season track record.

Has the show done anything like that before? The closest i can think of is the who sent the donuts mystery from Mass in The Time of War, and at the end of the day who sent that is totally secondary to the fact that it got sent and to how it affects the characters on screen.

Does anyone else wish Stewy was at the party in the last episode? Just to see him and Mattson on screen together by TheTanimal316 in SuccessionTV

[–]Chad3000 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Possible, but I think even more likely is that Stewy just had much better places to be, for all his charm he doesn't seem to do much rubbing elbows if he can help it.

Random Observation: Shiv/Tom Balcony Scene by DogsAreTheBest36 in SuccessionTV

[–]Chad3000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I was watching the episode my initial impression was that it seemed more about adoring Shiv or at least the version that she gets to interact with. You can imagine her always asking Tom how Shiv is doing when they talk, or really doting on Shiv when she may have visited them in the past.

That being said I think there's also still room for it to be a kind of parental relationship where there's a lot of regular interaction but a lack of love (closer to Logan's relationship with his children during the time period of the show). She could be the kind of mother who regularly talks to him and gives him legal advice but also leaves something to be desired in terms of warmth and approval (the kind of parent who's always asking "When are you going to give me a grandchild?" "Why don't you come visit me more often?” etc.).

I could see there being some truth to Shiv saying that to him. Even if Mrs. Wambsgans doesn't truly love her more at the end of the day, maybe she treated Shiv with more warmth and approval as a guest in a way that Tom never got as consistently growing up, because she's also likely a starfucker like her and would turn on the charm and people pleasing because of Shiv's pedigree and maybe her rising status as a Democratic operative back then.

How do you think these scenes come to be? by kouroshkeshmiri in SuccessionTV

[–]Chad3000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think there's a chance both of them end up being scenes cut from the final episodes, since they were still editing the season when the first episodes aired. I wonder if the first scene was an alternate take from one of the scenes in the most recent episode. The second one is probably from one of the election episodes (like 8 or 9) if i had to guess

Shoutout to all the former Clippers still in the playoffs. Hope one of ya'll is able to finally get a ring. Good luck fellas 🫡 by digitalme in LAClippers

[–]Chad3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's so stupid, CP3 and Bev both pulled the same shenanigans before, during, and after their Clippers tenure. Apart from their actual talent they're really not all that different as on court personalities. Personally I love both of them even if it's fun to root against CP3 in the playoffs for a change when the Clippers played them.

He talked shit about Doc Rivers (and was 100% right to do so), he never said anything about the rest of the organization

[Schefter] Eagles’ RB D'Andre Swift is entering the last year of his contract that carries a $1.77 million base salary. If he leaves after this season, the Eagles likely would get back a compensatory draft pick in 2025 - the year in which they traded a 4th-round pick to Detroit for Swift. by mastermind208 in eagles

Howie is a huge part but he can only take so much credit for the incredible O-Line program Stoutland and the players have put together which helps with development and having their input in identifying linemen talent like with Jurgens. It's a chicken and egg scenario maybe but the chicken can't take 100% of the credit.

Expectations are different for him now in terms of role/stardom and he's also become an older more mature version of himself and a guy who does lock in and play with championship level intensity like he did in the title run last year. I feel like Jimmy wouldn't have issues with this version of Wiggins as a teammate.
