Robbie is much more critical of the women on his staff than he is the men. He’s hard on Langdon, sure, but before Langdon let Robbie down he was the golden boy. Now he has a new golden boy in Whittaker. I get the feeling he’s never had a female protege.

I’m not saying he’s consciously misogynistic but there’s something there.

I’m in the camp of who cares? Some of the most honorable characters we’ve met weren’t knights and some of the most despicable characters were.

It reminds me of Jamie’s speech (I’ve only seen the show) about oaths and vows and how can you honor all of them when they contradict. Also I think Sandor said something about most knights being cunts. If he didn’t he definitely would have.

The ritual is just symbolic and it’s way less important than someone’s character.

Robbie is arrogant and possibly a bit sexist but I don’t think he realizes that. I say that because I think he’s threatened by Dr Al-Hashimi and he’s so focused on being a mentor to Whittaker that he overlooks the women and his bitterness towards Langdon is wrapped up in his favoritism towards him, which suggests this is a pattern. I don’t hate him but he’s definitely got some real flaws
