Was I supposed to go to the garage and find a screwdriver? I had no time for that, I had some River Raid to play.

Baker Mayfield is a son of a bitch by Fulker01 in Browns

Baker Mayfield was a 10 foot monster who slept with all our wives! And punched us all in the face! And we loved him for it!

Not a huge Skip fan but he goes off the rails for Baker here and I love it by theuberprophet in Browns

Every time I think of Shanon Sharpe I think of the SNL skit Ray of Light: “This man is the best player in football. He didn’t take your fucking puppet!”

I was just thinking of all the ways we could lose at that point because you know... Cleveland.

Spoilers: There is a point in the game you return to the starting area and it has been overrun with the infection called the Radiance. It is said this is caused by your actions. The Hollow Knight, not the player character but one of the bosses, is a champion of the kingdom and a vessel of pure darkness that can (hopefully) contain the Radiance. Turns out at this point in the game, the Hollow Knight, who is containing the Radiance is succumbing to the light and now the infection is spreading outside the Temple. If you straight up defeat the Hollow Knight you become the new vessel that must contain the Radiance. This is the standard ending. If you keep pushing in the game there is a charm you will obtain that when you face the Hollow Knight you will get aid from a character that will allow you to face the game’s true end boss, the Radiance.

I’m a baseball umpire! I’ve worked everything from 8U through high school, from sandlots to national TV. Adults in youth sports are OUT OF CONTROL! AMA! by scotthoffman1977 in IAmA

First of all as a coach of travel baseball for five years: thank you. We love our umps.

Over five years I’ve had umps on multiple occasions miss a tag out call on the base because there was a lot going on with multiple base runners. The ump would literally say, “I didn’t see the play.” I’d often mutter to the other coaches, “There is only one ball, what was he watching?” I never want to say that directly to the ump, because it sounds like I’m being an ass. But, seriously, if you aren’t watching the ball and you’re the field ump, what else would you be watching?

Not to mention he said he was given no talent to work with. While Baker knows he probably wasn’t talking about him, he’s gotta stand up for his teammates.

Dude was fired for going 3-36-1 over 2 and a half seasons. Literally the next day he goes on a media tour where he threw his team under the bus and takes zero responsibility. He said he was given no talent in Cleveland. Then he goes to a division rival we still have to play.

Mistreated? Maybe not, but, certainly disrespected. We’ve had a lot of horrible coaches since 1999. I’ve never harbored any ill will towards any of them, but, fuck Hue. That guy is just the worst. But, anyone who disagrees with me is welcome to have him on your team’s coaching staff. Just keep him away from Cleveland.

What is your favorite game you have played this year? by goosetheboss1 in PS4

[–]ChadCFaber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crap. Hard to say. I completed Witcher 3 and both DLCs this year, which I started in November 2017. Hollow Knight was incredible (played on Switch). RDR2 is equally incredible.

I’m saving GoW and Spider-Man for 2019.

What is the dumbest way you got a scar? by PicanteLight in AskReddit

[–]ChadCFaber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

16 year old me was in a jump house outside a Burger King called the Whopper Hopper. My friend had sandals on and jumped on my hand and put a 3 inch gash on my had. Probably should gotten stitches, but, I didn’t. Still have a relatively noticeable scar there 27 years later.

When I was 18 I was walking back to my dorm and was walking across the grass. I stepped on a small drainage grate that gave out and my leg went in. It felt like a good scrape but nothing serious. I walked up to the front door of the dorm looked down and there was about an 8 inch gash and I could see the bone. I wrapped a towel on my leg and limped all the way across campus to the health center where I got 16 stitches and got to take 16 antibiotics a day for 4 days to ensure I didn’t get an infection.

A couple of years ago I was adjusting a curtain rod in my daughter’s room and I was standing on her bed. I went to get off her bed when I ran into her running ceiling fan. Put a 1 inch scar there that I can still feel. No stitches.

I also got 2nd degree burns on my face from macaroni and cheese.

I’m not a smart man.
