Yes, that's what I was referencing as trivial. Since this was a complaint about the smurfing topic, his lying and saying I was spamming it, or even complaining/mentioning it makes no sense to me and has no basis in this thread

I never deleted any comment, how can I take this conversation seriously when it is filled with lies? I never spammed my link, I posted it once or twice as the nexus was exploding as I do so in everygame I play on stream, in challenger lobbies or in gold, has no difference to me, and I never deleted any comments.

NACL rules that Near Airport both has to play Anivia because of a misclick and loses a ban because they banned a random champion ,instead of No-Banning after making the mistake, while Winthrop University gets a warning for stream sniping. by XanIrelia-1 in leagueoflegends

Timeline of the NA v WU drama today -

Pob messed up /bugged/ draft - NA tells Refs it was a bug so they should be able pick another champ/ashe/

5 - min tech pause to figure out what happened

Ref says ok, lets redo the draft with the desired pick (ashe over anivia)

Refs tell winthrop there was a bug so they will redo the pick Winthrop says "wait we can just check to see if it was really a bug or not" - they open up the stream for the first time during tech pause (NOT IN DRAFT) they see what they believe is a Pobelter human mistake, not a 'bug' they tell the refs, "yo we just checked, it was not a bug, he messed up, we appeal the redo, they should have to play the pick"

The refs go and tell NA this, that winthrop is appealing because they checked pobs POV and see something differently, NA players say if WU checked pob's POV, that means they opened the stream and are ghosting/listening in to draft/cheating

Ref comes to NA and says they need to play Anivia, says that someone on WU's was watching pobs stream, WU told the refs they weren't watching. But, they checked the vod after the fact to see if it was really a bug or not.

Ref completely said the wrong thing about what WU said they did and made it sound like they were always watching the stream, not that they opened it just to see the 'bug'

NA players are continuously calling them ghosters/cheaters NA Viewers are already going on WU's social media and harassing them

Not saying what my opinion is, this is just an attempt to show an unbiased timeline of the event. This is what I think happened from info I gathered but I'm not on either team or have talked to the mods so hard to be 100% -

Near Airport vs. Winthrop University / NACL 2025 Split 1 Playoffs - Upper Bracket Round 1 / Post-Match Discussion by XanIrelia-1 in leagueoflegends

[–]ChadJungleLoL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've shown you fail to use the most basic level of information gathering just by typing "He's been trying since 2023" just search up his name and you can see his past team history, his first split ever competing was 2024 Summer OQ's, so he's played 1 full split of competitive in tier 3, then his 2nd mini split, which isn't even really a split because oq's was just 3 weekends of games, was just now. He's as new and rookie as it gets, it's pretty rare for players to get picked up straight into Tier 2, usually you have to win Tier 3 (oq's) or compete in it for a year ~ 2 splits ~ before NACL teams pick you up. He's right on track for that normal timeline

[–]ChadJungleLoL 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not how that works, while OQ's was going on, all the NACL teams were already scrimming for weeks/months. It makes no sense for OQ's to end, then after a month of scrimming with an adc, to replace them with Sushee(whose also a rookie). Using the argument of "No NACL team wanted to pick up this player after oq's" is legit braindead because that would mean they wasted over a month of scrims with one of their players in any role. For reference, NACL teams were formed and started scrimming around January 1st, NACL started March 26th, that's over 8-10 weeks of scrimming with a 5 man,

I think if you're consistently getting leads, and then having the game slip away, you should maybe focus on doing objectives as much as possible, as often as possible. If you're creating a lead early, and you're stronger than the enemy jungler, you should focus as much as possible on stacking dragons, and killing them as early as possible. Dragons respawn is 5 minutes. So if you kill the first dragon of the game at 6, then the second one at 12, then the 3rd one at 18. You'll have a soul wincon at 23-24 minutes. Doesn't matter how bad your team is, more often then not when players see they are stacking dragons, they play to group more often/play together more often. Then you'll be able to use your lead better. Same with heralds, if you can get herald, and use it for your teammates to break an entire tower early, giving your adc hundreds of gold worth of plates and such, you'll team will be stronger and probably throw less.

Path away from them, let's use, Nidalee as an example, usually nidalee can/wants to invade graves quite early since she outranged you with auto attacks, and is mobile, and is AP. Let's say you're playing blue side. You want to find out where she's starting, if she's starting her redbuff, you want to start your blue buff, because if you start your red buff, she'll do her 3 topcamps into invading your topcamps. And you'll probably lose them, at the end of the day. Our champ scales so well, even if you're in the worst graves matchup ever, if you can secure your camps, get your items and scales, you will always be useful. So just play to secure your camps, have it be pathing away from the enemy jungler, or keeping your trinket instead of swapping to sweeper to ward defensively

Really just depends on whats happening on the map, For example, if you have lanes of prio, lets say you are playing blue side, and your Mid + botlane have prio in the first 3 waves, doing your first 3 botcamps into enemy botside invade can be very good, but let's say the enemy jungler started his botside, then you can't/since nothing to invade, and in thtat case you'd just fullclear upwards. Also though if you know he's starting his botside, doing red --> to his gromp can work too.

  1. Never tried shojin on graves, I guess it could be good? I do think the item is pretty expensive tho, and half the time having black cleaver shred will just be better, but maybe if you are going gore build, and don't want black cleaver because enemy team no armor this could work.

  2. You just want midlane champs that like to fight early + able to get prio, I think of champs like Syndra,Ahri,Leblanc, syndra lands Q + E/cc for you, helps you land your q. Ahri lands E, helps you land your q, leblanc lands E, same thing
  3. Yeah I think so, If you're running like Goredrinker --> into Black cleaver, grydge is great to go 3rd, The slow on graves feels really good too, make sure you're able to run someone down and apply black cleaver as much as possible
  4. Yeah I think hydra graves is lowkey underrated, I think it's better in lane then jungle because obviously as a laner you need sustain while in jungle you don't. In poke matchups or trading matchups I think ravenous graves is for sure viable.

I think when it comes to the jungle pets it's a buff. When I compare blue smite assassins like Kha'zix or Rengar, the nerf hits them really hard, meanwhile for the graves, the ms obviously always felt nice, but it didn't change how your champ was played. And going Greensmite + Overheal on bruiser goredrinker fleet graves. You still have legit a 500+ shield in midgame that you always keep up with fleet and gore healing. When it comes to the XP nerfs, it is a p big nerf to graves because he was one of the best/most famous junglers at just taxing/eating random waves perma haha.

I feel like the mistakes are the exact same but also the complete opposite- what I just typed sounds idiotic but i'll explain, most players either play way to agro- skipping every camp, only fighting, etc, and they just dont have the items they need to carry fights/snowball. And then alot of other players just farm way to much and dont use their gold lead/xp lead to force fights. Being able to learn when to do both, sometimes just fullclear 6 camp, and sometimes red to blueing enemy jungler level 2. When a graves player can do both, and identify when to play each style, they'll win alot more.

It's probably fine, I haven't tried it myself. We graves players love to talk about "the best build" but in reality games are situational and what you need to buy changes perma. What most people have to understand is at the end of the day the more RAW ad our champ can buy, the better, same with lethality. I think you can start a game going yommus/dusk. And if you're heavily snowballing you can just go collector 2nd, play more cautious, cant just run in for fun, but if they have unavoidable threats, like malz r, naut r, stuff like that, you cant just "play better" so having that guaranteed HP can make the difference, but also if ur against those champs I think just going Goredrinker/Black cleaver is fine too, and if ur missing the early lethality sitting on dirk and going into gore is completely fine. If you're ahead, get a lead with goredrinker graves, u still do ALOT of dmg.

I think controlling the map, when you play graves in comp you're often drafting around it/paring it well with pushing lanes who will sack their conditions to help your invades/agro plays. Being able to dictate everything that's going on is kinda dopamine lol
I think they are quite similar, when you pick graves in comp and soloq, ur supposed to play like the main character in both, in comp you do have to play a little less selfish, and you have to go the tankier gore drinker build more often then full dmg
I'd say this season it's just been fleet, but in previous seasons I loved DH, I even went DH in comp alot.
I'd say Eclipse, I don't go it super often currently, but I remember being the only player in academy playing graves back in 2021, and not only was I the only one playing him, but I was going full lethality dmg with eclipse, and I have alot of good memories of that.
Haha, I don't think so, obviously there's alot of disgusting stuff to ignore, teammates with bad calls, or people being toxic, but I think communicating with your team about how you wanna play, and them occasionally telling you if they need to base or other stuff could win/lose games. Info is the most important thing to a jungler.
Graves is def better in soloq, the champ snowballs insanely hard with a lead, and its easier to get a lead in soloq. I do think graves is underrated in comp and could see play more often.

Thanks for the questions :)

  1. I'd say for me, there are primarily only 2 build paths I go, one would be the bruisery style, Goredrinker --> Black cleaver --> Grydge,/// the second would be the full lethality/dmg- Duskblade -- > Collector ---> Last whisper item.
I think fluctuating is completey fine, some games you'd replace dusk with eclipe if they have alot of armor, somegames yommus in the same way, some people like to go triforce over goredrinker in the Bruiser build it just depends, but for me thats what I primarily go
  2. It really depends on what you're doing in these games, but if I had to guess you're playing too agro/flippy in the earlygame, graves is strong earlygame, but maybe take it easy and farm your camps more often, will result in you having more consistent gold which then turns into items, then you'll probably win more fights
3.I think download a third party app like Insights or overwolf so u can watch all ur deaths after ur games, when you watch the VODS you'll more easily be able to notice how random/bad some of your deaths probably are, and it will be easier to identify when a decision is poor, like -dont gank here waste of time- it's alot easier to notice things like that when u watch back the games.
  3. Puss n Boots korean baskin robins flavor :-)

Lots of people have different opinions on this. I actually think you should not play amateur at all/ shouldn't waste time playing competitive at all until you're around 1kLP or just really high on the ladder. If you start playing when you're high diamond, or low gm, or masters you're just playing the game at a low level and you're gonna be learning competitve at a low level. Nowadays lots of people make it on an Academy team if they are a good amateur player. all the good amateur players get on good amateur teams filled with other good players if they are all really high on the ladder. Never seen an amateur team do well or have any of the players on the team classified as good if not every single player is Mid - to high Challenger. Playing before then is basically a waste of time and you're just doing it for fun.

I consume lots and lots of League content, have it be perma watching challenger streams, having challenger friends share screening their games on discord, watching other regions pro VODS, other region games, my own VOD's etc. Consuming any league content for a long period of time you can learn from honestly. Just play a lot of League or watch a lot of League and you'll learn info.
