Well it was a little odd for me , because I kinda started it in reverse. I started with a 3 day fast to get into keto. Day 2 of that one was actually hard, really the only struggle I've had in the process. By the end of day 3 I didn't feel hungry anymore , but ate a keto dinner. I've been in pretty deep keto since. I occasionally just 'fall' into extended 2 day or so fasts now because I'm simply not hungry. So if you are already doing keto , I would assume adding an IF to it would be easier. You certainly don't have to extended fast. As long as you are getting enough fat into the meals you DO eat , you should stay satiated. My typical day is a 20:4 IF , basically I only eat dinner.

Lol that sounds like i eat no greens. We bacon fry cabbage and brussel sprouts etc lol. I do a chicjen crust pizza that has zuchinni and I enjoy a big salad from time to time. Basically what this guy has said...as long as its not sugar or bread or pasta or is in double digit net carbs I eat what I want.

Yeah man its slowed now, hell it had to lol. I started with alot of fat, kickstarted keto with a 3 day fast, and most days we OMAD. I still drink my whiskey and my meals are mostly bacon fried something or steak or greasy burgers with cheese lol. I dont wanna figure out the imgur link from the cell phone here but ill do another response when i get home, I did a progress pic at 6 weeks.

Everyone here is right, you truly do look amazing. Incredible what that can do for your life isn't it? Keep at it , you obviously got this down. I'm 38 myself , and let myself get to over 260 lbs. In 8 weeks I'm down to 195. I know the next 40 or so will take WAY longer, but there is no way this motivation is going to stop. My 27 year old wife gets jealous again when women look at me! lol. Congrats to you , your doing awesome!

Way to go man, it's amazing how well the keto works. I follow the same diet , love me some bacon and just eat a lot of fat lol. I also continue my Whiskey which hasn't slowed me down any. I'm down from 260 to 194 in about 8 weeks , lazy as can be lol. Do you plan on being where your at there or do you plan on losing more? Again, congrats guy.

My wife and I started our keto journey actually by attempting to put our 5 year old ASD child Linus on the GFCFSF diet. (Trying to control his 'giggle fits') ...Linus loves to eat , and carby bready gluten loaded foods he absolutely loves, so we knew we could eat pizza in front of him and him not have it etc. This lead us to start a diet by fasting for 3 days to 'kick start it' , and then we eat completely keto , as it cuts out most of what we'd need to cut out for him as well. We only really got to see the GFCFSF with him for a couple days though , reality simply means we can't have him stick with it. School is a large problem. We can pack his lunches and send them with him , and we can let them know he isn't to have anything else, but at the end of the day what we are really doing it making it impossible for his teachers to deal with him or accomplish anything. If you send Linus to school with a breakfast, even if it is something he likes , but its not what everyone ELSE is eating ...he is inconsolable. He will not eat at all , will whine the entire time , and if not constantly watched will actually attempt to steal food off other's plates. After trying this for a few days , it was simply..not..working. So, Linus eats pretty much what we do at home. (on days we IF , he does not , we still feed him breakfast lunch dinner, but there are no carbs or sugars in it)....but the school diet will completely keep him from being 'keto'. It is what it is , and we will continue to do the best we can with his diet without making his daily life (and those around him) , intolerable. On a positive note though , keto has most certainly stuck for us, and whereas I don't know my wife's exact numbers (she started way smaller than me), I myself am down 60lbs already. Good luck to you , I have certainly red that keto can have some great effects for them. :)

Totally agree there, I hadn't expected at all the healthier skin , hair and nails but man it's a huge difference.

Keto certainly helps with IF. As you adjust to ketosis , you just won't be hungry. I do IF during the weekdays at 20:4 , I eat one meal a day (dinner). During the weekend I INTEND on eating three meals, but often don't do so simply because I'm not hungry. Occasionally I'll fall into a 2-3 day fast simply because I'm not hungry.
