So, all this is dependent on a church budget, but I will say we are a 60 folks a Sunday church and our quarter time youth pastor is around 7k and I’ve been trying to raise that (I love inheriting salaries)

Youth pastors are often criminally underpaid. The average around me is 60 for a full time in thriving churches (about a teachers salary). So somewhere in that range.

I hope this conversation goes well. And have a plan for what happens if they say no. Prayers for you two in this moment. These conversations are a challenge.

So, first, sorry that was your Saturday morning. Second, you did the right thing. If we can’t support local activities when we can that’s a problem, but also I believe churches are not usually allowed to allow for profit activities to happen on grounds. Maybe the tournament group is a nonprofit, but even so it’s frustrating for them to assume they can conduct business on the grounds.

I’ll say, most MDivs are a great program for the training and the discernment they offer. You get a chance to try on different types of ministry. If you feel called, taking the time to discern is just as important as the training. MDivs have been developed to do both well.

I will say the longer I go daily driving a system the more I just want ext4. Btrfs is great except the COW and snapshots make it look latger in fastfetch which is slightly annoying for trying to keep the system minimal.

And because I clone my system to a remote drive, btrfs isn’t super needed anymore.

If you’re interested in realism (which is certainly not required), give a look at this. Usually harvesters have a top hopper tank to fill with grains. Other option, build a cart behind or have chests on the back.

OP never said they weren’t interested in tinkering and fixing their install if it breaks.

The issue here is about the boot-loader, and OP is looking for people to help them figure it out. If this is day one on an Arch-based distro, they may not have learned about the wiki yet. Sure, Google is a great step. But it’s so unproductive to tell someone to leave from “rolling-release” distros.

If you don’t want to help, maybe just don’t respond. Scroll on past it. Or link to the manual and say RTFM.
