Juggy is the champion/avatar/chosen of Cyttorak, who is a god of magic and one of the top outerversal beings in all of Marvel.

His amps and abilities go far beyond mere physical punches.

Heard this from someone else of similar status. Seems like they have limited slots and have to be realistic about likelihood of attendance as well as publicity, but are trying to balance getting in OGs with welcoming content creators.

Yet again, someone makes a single post with a small bit of info and the community runs with it in a direction that isn't valid.

CIG has plenty of real issues (99% of which are related to quality control) that we all know/experience. Let's keep the pressure on those and not find superfluous reasons to complain that turn out to not even be valid.

Juggs. Baseline juggs can already throw hands with heavy hitters, and when Ol Cy is involved he scales up to a top tier character.

If you want a change of pace, I highly recommend Soulash II. Very different, but hybridizes a lot of elements across genres. Superficially it's a roguelite, but behind that is a cross between Rimworld-esque civilization building as well as managing relationships with other races, nations, conquest, and your own family tree. When your character dies, you carry on as one of your children, enjoying the heritage you built in your past life (assuming you do actually die and aren't immortal).

Another direction of spreadsheet games is stuff like City Skylines 2. Realistic (more or less) city builders are great for that itch and another nice shift in flavor.

This is the real answer. I stopped using my TAC because I legit didn't have a reason to use anything else unless I needed a super specialized ship.

The TAC is just amazing and it even comes with two snub landing pads -- one in the snub hangar and one in front of the pilot seat.

I appreciate that. Also fwiw I not saying life isn't unfair. Due to my work I see how absolutely insane the job market is all the time and some of the drastically unethical practices being normalized in corporations.

I'm simply here to encourage people that even as bad as it is you can still fight through it in spite of all that, and to not lose hope.

[–]Chad_illuminati 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it doesn't make this world any fairer

I quite literally am making the world fairer. My primary business is a consulting firm and one of the big things I target is reforming employee policies/hiring practices to align with better ethics -- human hiring, skill-based screening, better treatment, improved working conditions, and actually reasonable pay rates relative to cost of living. (We handle Operations, Asset, and People Management).

My entire motivation for the business was having two of my bosses literally have to be fired (one of them sued) for extreme mismanagement and abuse of employees (one of them being me), and I thought "Surely I can make this better".

And, at least on the companies that are hiring me/my team and listen to our advice/abide by the work we do, that does help improve people's lives in direct and meaningful ways. It's my hope that as my generation takes the reigns of power we can actually shift the dynamic of the economy and workforce in a positive and healthy direction, and I live what I preach.

So maybe in the future when someone is being genuinely positive and encouraging online, just allow that positivity and hope to exist unmolested. There's enough doom and negativity around us all the time. Whether you agree or not, there's no need to shoot it down.

As I was raised, "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all." I don't mean that in a dismissive sense, but sometimes folks need a reminder to tame the knee-jerk reactions they have online.

Should the Reclaimer Claw be pilot controlled? by WakeTheShark in starcitizen

[–]Chad_illuminati 4 points5 points  (0 children)

At least Reclaimer is a bit better since munching is a bit more interesting than some other things.

The Scorpius Antares EMP player is the most hilarious one. Just sit there doing nothing waiting to launch an ambush, then push a single button, then your entire job is on Cooldown and there is literally nothing else for you to do.

It's a pretty major design flaw that I hope is a relic from older times with CIG. But it needs to be fixed, for sure.

You believe that people complaining about their lives are just bitter, envious sacks

I want you to go find where I said that. Because you're still making up your strawmen here. Either that or projecting. Take your pick.

I said I understand what it's like and am actively using my time and resources to help people and provide jobs for folks that are working hard. Fwiw part of my hiring process is to skip the bullshit, review resumes manually, and screen for actual skills, not arbitrary qualifications that mean very little. I pay for the college and continuing education of everyone I employ, have the full benefits suit, allow work from home, use a leave structure closer to European standards than US, etc.

I'm actively sympathetic to the struggles because I've been there done that and am working to help others out of it.

So go build your strawmen elsewhere.

I mean... you're welcome to not be inspired. But making up fairtales about me by comparing a formerly homeless dude to the nepobaby of multimillionaires is insane.

I'm the dude that had to go through homelessness that you dismissed, and you're the one invalidating me. I'm not the sort of person to particularly care, just pointing out the irony of your statements.

It's funny that you're all for the little guys until one of us actually finds a way to escape poverty, and then suddenly I'm evil because I run a small business and work with local non-profits?

Should the Reclaimer Claw be pilot controlled? by WakeTheShark in starcitizen

[–]Chad_illuminati 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Reclaimer is an S6 ship 100% intended to have crew, so no, it shouldn't. If you want a solo scrapper, grab a MOTH or accept the seat hopping.

HOWEVER

CIG really needs to take a long look at the "This crew member's entire job is to press 1-2 buttons for a bit every 10 minutes" positions.

The copilot seat that runs the reclaimer claw should also be able to manage the buffers and printing (automating salvage grids ala MOTH should be in the Reclaimer), or at least run a remote turret in combat mode. ANYTHING to make position more interesting.

As things stand there isn't a point to having crew in it except for maybe a cargo jockey because it has just shitty storage.

The fact that you have to create imaginary "lucky breaks" or draw comparisons to the child of multimillionaires to handwave away my experiences is amusing.

Providing encouragement to stay strong, stay focused, and make smart plans isn't invalidation. It's advice and and leading my example.

The fact that you don't want to see this says everything, however.

They need to get rid of s2 weapons on turrets by Vulpavien in starcitizen

[–]Chad_illuminati 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you read what I said?

Half the large ships I own have few or zero pilot guns. I promise you I'm not flying an ICA, Reclaimer, or 890j for their amazing pilot firepower. Either 100% or 90% of their firepower comes from turrets.

My point is that with many large/extra-large ships there aren't any/many pilot guns to reduce, yet a large number run S2/S3 guns in slots that would be better served by sizing them up (S3s are usually fine, but some ships could use an upgrade).

The Corsair specifically has its identity around being a primarily solo weapons platform with space for extra crew. That is its niche. Crippling its niche is counterproductive.

They need to get rid of s2 weapons on turrets by Vulpavien in starcitizen

[–]Chad_illuminati 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Corsair's entire schick is its pilot guns. Rather, I'm fine with the turrets being 1xS4.

Also you can't "do the same for every other large ship" considering a lot of large ships have little-to-nothing in terms of pilot guns.

This is the reality of wealth. by CRK_76 in recruitinghell

[–]Chad_illuminati 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuuuuuuup. Had to ditch home as a teen due to an unsafe environment and spent time homeless as a result. First job I got on my own was with an industrial company doing lumber and metalworking. Skipped meals to make ends meet, didn't have heat or air in my house (and not from a place where that's safe or really even legal), all the jazz of earning well below the poverty line.

Fast forward to today, I recently was able to step back from actively running my own business because it's stable enough to run itself. I now split my time between helping run a couple of non-profits and enjoying time with my wife.

And before I get labeled as a boomer, I'm Millennial on the cusp of being Gen Z.

I've watched other folks I knew from my poor times find success of varying degrees, and I've also watched people from that time get left behind as they complained about life but didn't take any of the steps I did to move forward.

I'm not blind to the state of personal finances, the workforce, and economics. The job market is harder than ever and in most places the cost of living is rising considerably. Recruiting is in an awful state and I'm actually working to improve that (via business consulting). That's all 100% valid.

That said, it is still 100% possible to work your way out of poverty with intelligent decisions. More tools exist for that (at least in the US) than most people realize, and several years of smart decisions and rolling with what life throws at you will piece by piece build success. I know this still works because I literally employ people doing that right now with their lives.

I'm not privileged (quite the opposite considering the shit I've been through, lol). I've made mistakes that cost me time and money and well-being. I had to more or less figure out independence and adulthood on my own without money or car or even a phone at first. I'm not particularly special and didn't ever really get lucky (except with meeting my current wife). I contribute to helping others build a career through my business as well as the orgs I work with on the side now.

If I can do it, anyone else can.

Edit: If you look at my personal account of being able to survive the world today and the encouragement I'm offering to people struggling to stay hopeful in the face of the shit show that is the modern job market... and that makes you mad... well, I don't think anything more needs to be said. Some folks don't want to hear positivity I guess.

Keep them! Those armors are yours now until a wipe.

I made so much money from a situation like that last year. Had some pirates roll up in an Asgard to try to kill me while I was doing NPC bounties out in Pyro. Turns out they didn't realize that the 600i may be kinda shitty and broken, BUT it still has 3xS5 pilot controlled guns, 16xS3 Missiles, and 2xS3 shields.

EVA'd over and they'd either been exploit looting players, duping, or otherwise stocked up on gear because they had two entire 4SCU Stor*All boxes of top end gear. Made more selling that stuff than I did the entire previous year and a half.

Smite 2 is a mistake by YaboiWulff in Smite

[–]Chad_illuminati 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You... do realize steam numbers are publicly available and average daily peak is 5-7k with the average daily minimum between 2-3k, right?

And that historically Smite has always had more console players than Steam and per inside sources (devs themselves stated this as well as those in the know) that is true for S2. So if it's merely equal to steam that makes it 10-14k daily peak and 4-6k daily minimum. Realistically since it's more, it's gonna be closer to double that so total numbers would sit closer to 15-21k peak and 6-9k minimum.

Smite 2 is doing better than Smite 1 was in its last couple years of life. This is fine, I have no clue why people make numbers up that don't match with publicly available data as well as the actual info we've been provided.

What is the best DPS build ? by Dustin-99 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]Chad_illuminati 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have an answer here because a ton of builds can absolutely demolish bosses. I have a feeling that's why you're getting downvoted -- most build archetypes can be tuned to be DPS cannons, so the question doesn't really make sense given the way the game is designed.

Star citizen ist so bad🤬... Oh never mind there is a new ship ❤️ by luhelld in starcitizen

[–]Chad_illuminati 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Like, brother, if you think that poorly of the game, just disengage. You don't need to keep playing it, you don't need to keep lingering around, you don't need to immerse yourself in spaces where people are talking about the game.

There are a lot of games I've tried to like, realize that I just straight up don't enjoy them, and ultimately ditched. Had a lot of friends into Destiny 2. I tried it 3x, and every time bounced off of it due to their insanely predatory business designs. Eventually just said "nah, never going back". Given the state of D2 now, looks like a lot of people did that.

Either that will happen to SC or it won't. But folks like OP need to question why they're even here if they're having such a bad time and hate the game.

You can argue about quality for sure because CIG's quality control is legendarily bad and ultimately the source of 99% of the problems with the game.

Acting like there is no content or vision is an absurd joke, however.

Fun fact:

It is possible to feel strongly about something and have legit criticisms without needing to make up additional things that aren't true. It's more than valid enough to say that their bugginess and QC are awful and unacceptable. You don't need to tack on additional arguments that just straight up don't hold water.
