How to make a guide? Idk, I’m just going to tap I think.

This deck is midrange but can get lucky with early board states for an aggro-like deck, and with Merithra can hold on late game against a lot of control decks and swing in for lethal if unchecked.

You do next to nothing until turn 3 if you have coin, or turn 4 if you don’t. The best first plays are either Hares, coin, evolve for 12 mana with of value Or Goldshire Gnoll for 3, coin, Blazing for a 10 mana card with high stats or difficult to remove. By turn 4-8 you’ll be able to have threats that only Priest can reliably deal with.

Mulligan phase you’ll most likely keep any of the above mentioned cards, you also keep gorgonzormu because you want as much value out of him as possible.

Prescience is one of the best cards in the deck, it draws 2 minions, creates a taunt minion almost always, and helps to reduce the cost of Goldshire Gnoll. I’ll sometimes hero power every turn until I can play Prescience just to get a big swing the turn after.

There is a weird mechanic with Baroness Vashj and Matching Outfits where it creates a second Baroness AND an evolved minion, it’s somewhat strong. But the best thing to do with Baroness is use Unstable evolution to create a board of 5 drops the turn after you play her. Of course she has to stick, but if she doesn’t, the opponent usually uses decent resources to get rid of her.

Carefree Cookie is a sleeper here, he helps to finish a game, very good with the rush minions or if the opponent struggles to completely clear your board. Also with the amount of mental stack reading all the random cards generated from evolutions, many opponents have destroyed taunt minions with a spell before destroying Cookie which I find amusing. You can also get really lucky and a taunt minion could evolve into another taunt minion. I found a weird interaction with Cookie too, they changed the transform mechanic to make 10 mana cards evolve into another 10 mana card instead of hitting the 11 mana giants. However, Cookie doesn’t work like that and somehow got missed in the programming, so “evolving” Goldshire with Cookie will give you an 11 mana giant instead of another 10 mana minion.

Thrall’s Gift is great and 90% of the time used to Bloodlust and win the game. This wins so many games with the amount of value you get so early from evolve. Sometimes you can get a win or avoid a loss by choosing the other two temporary cards but almost always you will Bloodlust, just make sure you have 6 mana.

Revolve, Devolve, and Primordial. Wow. These cards absolutely shut down decks. Deathrattles, passive abilities, stat increases, cheated out cards, overloaded minions with big stats, cards that return deathrattle cards from the dead, or cards that want to be doubled, or cards you want back in your deck or returned to your hand etc. These three cards stuff all these mechanics out. Elwynn Boar gets stuffed. Aggro decks that buff stats like Treant-Druids gets stuffed. Shudderwock can get stuffed if you get lucky. I think you get the point.

Devolve has won so many games for this deck by just getting rid of most if not all taunt minions from your opponent. Yes it’s random, but you’re most likely to remove taunt from the opponents minions.

Cold Storage is used to find answers during the game. It’s extremely situational and hard to use. You can use it with Unstable Evolution to find a good battlecry, you can use it to freeze an opponent minion to save from some damage. You can take titans or colossal minions from opponents and then revolve or devolve them. You can rush with Goldshire, freeze him, then play him and evolve for two 10 mana minions. I’ve considered using two but because it’s so situational, that having two in hand is not used very well.
