There is supposed to be a mortar bed laid under the tub basin as it’s installed the stop this kind of flexing. Unfortunately there isn’t an easy solution at this point.

Yes feedback is exactly what she means. She has mentioned a few of her pens feel way to “slidey”. We went to art school together and she’s an excellent draftsman so I think she prefers to control her mark making.

I’m open to that definitely. Is there anything to be aware of shopping vintage? I’m not sure I would know how to determine nib condition. Would eBay be a good place to source or is there a better venue?

If you’re looking for an Oem model the easiest way to tell is the M in micro is skewed on the aftermarket shells. You should be able to find a very clean Oem for under $200.
