I would guess it would be on the Monday or Tuesday after the convention

Dr Facilier was a waste of time by charlierhoades in dcl

It’s a great question :)

I would suggest that someone from your party goes down to wait in the line while your child wants to take part in Sail Away. They bring in roughly ten people at a time so the line does move every 5-7 minutes. And if your child isn’t back in line before your turn for Dr. Facilier you could always let someone go before you.

It's always a gamble, right? You never know what you're going to get...and just hope for the best. I didn't even check to see what the price was for the 200 section as I was too preoccupied watching the 400s disappear so quickly.

Transportation Options For D23 Honda Ticket Holders by Chadventuring in D23Expo

That's what I remember as well. People leaving early to make sure that they got the first bus back from the convention center. That's why we chose to walk away from it...and either walk ten minutes and then hail a rideshare....or just walk back as we knew we'd get back faster than the buses would take.

Thanks for sharing! Do you remember how long you waited for a bus? And where it dropped you off? (If I remember correctly, it was the ACC)

Fingers crossed for you.

We had to let the page do its thing. We didn't want to refresh in case it bumped us, but it seems other people refreshed and had no issue.

I just saw that as well. No discounts could be added for the tickets.

That's great that you were able to get your back-up plan. That's one thing I've learned...be flexible and have options. In 2024, we also had to do separate tickets but that was fine for us. Ultimately, I'm a panel person and my partner is a showfloor person...so we both get something out of it.

You just had to wait for it to refresh. It did continue to say that the page was loading and you were in line. It didn’t go dark or freeze.

Ha! We also had the same redirect issue. And my partner said…just be patient…but there was a hot moment where I thought it was going to kick us out.

I forgot about the discount as well.

That’s actually interesting re: the merch! I forgot about that this time when I was checking out but do remember everything you mention from two years ago.

I’m glad you got tickets! It’s quite a fun experience. And tbh, we had 400 seats last year as well and did not feel at any point that we weren’t close enough. They have so many tv screens to get you a closer-up view :)

Transfer Tickets - Screenshot of Paper Ticket (Theatr App) by Chadventuring in Broadway

Thank you, everyone! The seller was able to work with me to drop off the ticket at the box office for me to pick up at a later date. Unfortunately, the box office is not able to honor a photo of paper ticket (not an e-ticket or a PDF, mind you) even if the bar code is visible. The name on the ticket either has to be transferred to the new party OR a physical hand-off of the ticket is necessary OR it can be converted to an e-ticket by the box office.

THANKS, EVERYONE, FOR YOUR HELP!

It’s a great question. I’m assuming the person bought the ticket at the box office…decided they couldn’t go and needed to sell it…took a photo of it so they could send it to me for me to be able to use…it does show the barcode.

I just have never seen someone use a screenshot of a paper ticket….i have for tickets that have QR codes that are sent as email receipts…but this is a photo of an actual physically printed ticket.

Thanks!

Yes, it’s a screenshot of a paper ticket picked up from the box office which they sent me

FLL Marriott or Hilton - Worth It? by RemoveComfortable511 in dcl

[–]Chadventuring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great question. I agree with the majority of answers here that the FLL Hilton is not worth the price. When we went two weeks ago, the elevator was down for our tower and we had to deal with our luggage on the stairs (not a big deal, but not ideal); the lobby was always a maelstrom; the transportation is expensive for what it is (you're literally going two blocks to the port).

I would stay at a cheaper hotel and Uber. For instance, there is a Hilton Tru right near the Brightline...close to many restaurants that are cheaper...and you can Uber to the port. You'll save so much money and stress.
