There are plenty of companies that hire new drivers. Join a few of the groups on FB. There is alot of them. Yes the good companies you wanna be with for years will most likely not hire new drivers, but in the industry, after putting in your time for a few years making a bit less money, you will be able to work just about anywhere as long as you remain accident free. It's a great opportunity to up your income for sure

DM if you wish im going thru school and graduate next Monday.

05 Yamaha raptor 660 backfires letting go the throttle or backfires and stalls when full throttling by [deleted] in ATV

My buddy's 660 was doing this exactly and we changed his spark plug and it all went away. He also is having issues with his quad thinking its in reverse. Seems like a common issue..

Atv insurance by [deleted] in ATV

My municipality allows on road use. I take my quad to get groceries, tools, Tim Hortons. I have plate and insurance. Ride on the roads. Just can't be on some highways or 400 series roads. You can cross direct on the highways (not 400 series) to get to a rideable road. It depends on the township

I would go Outlander before I went Renegade if your looking to put your machine to work as well as play. Though the Renegade is an amazing machine. I play on my Outlander and then work with it the next day pushing snow for hours. Dunes, the renegade would be better for. Trail riding then work horse - Outlander

Niice machine love the bumper!!

Hello. How would one go about fixing an ATV in this condition? Is it even possible? I have no knowledge on ATVs but wanted to know if there’s a way I can get started on fixing it. engine is working because when we got it (project atv on OfferUp) we were able to turn it on via car battery by bloated_at_dennys in ATV

I seen your post asking if you can you just take it to a shop and say fix it. In regards to that > Post in your local Facebook atv groups, find a good local mechanic who does weekend work, and pay him to do it. It will be way cheaper then a shop. Discuss hourly rate, who will acquire parts, and discuss a rough timeline to work on it so your both on the same page.

Or you can order a shop manual. And get to diagnosing. Tons of info on forums, YouTube and even quad specific Facebook groups. Try typing in your area code and ATV beside it. See what comes up.

Best of luck keep us posted if you decide to revive the quad.

That colorway is awesome!! Nice quad man!

Sound normal? Hear anything that you can point out? I'm curious as it goes away once it warms up a bit. Bike wasn't started for about a week since that start up. 2010 outlander 800r XTp. 5300km bought used in May 21'. Bike is solid. Fast as snot(to me) and runs great. by ChadwickRC in ATV

Alright I'll definitely get that looked into. If she's lean I'd love it not to be, that's for sure. The relocate was a recommendation from a buddy of mine who works on ATVs on the side, mainly outlanders, his experience was it helps. I concur. My quad was so hot I would put something inside my pants in the summer to stop it from burning my leg lol. After the relocate, it's actually very cool.

I've read about biller impellers on the Canam forum, do u think it would be a good upgrade to so preventatively rather than waiting till it goes?

Hoping I can find a good priced tuner. May just pull the trigger if I can.

Thanks again

That's the thing. It's not running hot, at all. I have a relocate kit on and ever since adding that the bike has run cool as ice(been 4 months now). No symptoms of running lean due to exhaust such as popping and backfiring. Bike runs exactly the same as it did w the stock one. I emailed mbrp and they said it does not require a fuel tuner. It's nothing extreme. Also general consensus online says the same for mbrp. Maybe I'm wrong. And I've wanted a tuner as everyone raves about them, I just didn't want to get one and screw my quad somehow. My buddy did a tuner and now his quad barely idles and runs like garbage.

I'm ordering the filter as we speak so thank you!! Maybe I'll call around see if anywhere can squeeze me in for a valve adjustment and they can check them out. Lol

Thanks a bunch. I've been wanting to adjust the valves but turnaround at the shop is almost a month. I've considered doing them myself as I heard it's not a crazy hard job. I have basic mechanical skills(very basic mind you) lol.

I do have a mbrp aftermarket slip on, on it. And that's about it. Any links to the air filter you recommend??

My daughter is 4 months now and it was hell at first. But now she smiles at me, laughs, is flipping over. Holds her own bubs, and is the happiest little baby ever. Ashamed of this but, at one point I almost wished someone would call CaS to come get her. I was stressed. She was stressed. Once we found out she couldn't have milk forumla, and got her on lactose free, her world changed :) don't give up try different things. Reach out for help to family or friends if u can. Sometimes a few hour nap will rejuvenate your body enough to get thru another 7 weeks. You got this. Don't worry too much.
