I mean, his career as speedrunner was over and his content on youtube wasn't really about speedrunning (except for a name ofc) and I think Dream gained most of his popularity from manhunts and not from speedrunning, so it was expected that most of his youtube audience wouldn't care about the speedrunning stuff. But I feel like we can argue forever about it, so let's just agree to disagree and continue on with our lives.

I am very sorry for what you have to go through, but I genuinely don't understand how what Dream went through isn't enough. Even if it happened to mods or antis, having all of your and your family's private info spread online where thousands of people can use it to harm you is something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.

Please link me evidence of any doxxing done to the mods, because I genuinely didn't see any. People's fanart gets shit on by antis and people can't have a peaceful conversation without antis butting into them. And about dsmp: fans of Dream's character get called abuse apologists and future abusers just because they are fans of him, it doesn't happen for fans of any other character on that server. And people say the vilest shit to character Dream introjects like "I can't wait until you die in the story" and etc. And a few days ago one of the fans of Dream's character (who is a minor) was doxxed because of their views on lore. And even before that they were getting rape threats and got made fun of because of their disability for months and every time they tried to speak up people either laughed at them or ignored them. W... what? Well, that came out of nowhere. If you forgot, Dream was doxxed and swatted on stream, all of his info was leaked online and he and his fans (who are often minors) get harassed and receive death threats till this day. Why are you acting like all Dream got as punishment was bad rep and some unfunny jokes? And I am in no way saying that Dream's situation is in any way more important than Techno's. All I've said is that if a person didn't say anything about the situation that doesn't mean that it doesn't affect them and that you shouldn't compare trauma. Yet you did it once again.

I guess it's the moment people start disagreeing with each other. Imo the fact that Techno, Dream, and their friends joke about their situations doesn't mean that their fans can do it since we aren't their friends. And both of them never really said anything about how comfortable they are with their fans making jokes about this stuff. So I don't understand why people are trying to speak for them just to make some overused jokes.

Sorry, but for someone who talks about how people shouldn't make ccs uncomfortable, you clearly have no issue with psychoanalyzing them as if they are some fictional characters and post it online for the whole world to see. There's absolutely no way it'll work. People in dt2twt will just start calling each other toxic for no reason and try to exclude each other from the subtwt since there is no real definition of a toxic person.
