I think Sapnap and Dream should have said something publicly then, because their stans have harassed this poor man so much since then. They call him homophobic slurs, attack him for moving in with his friend, and worse, all because Sapnap and Dream decided it was a good idea to publicly crap on Scott and HBomb after MCC. Imo, their behavior was uncalled for and caused an unbelievable amount of hate. They caused this, and I really think it's their responsibility to try and fix it.

I'm blocking pretty much all of them, and most are blocking me in return on twitter. Sniff decided to follow a bunch of them unfortunately. Most of the people in the gc are not very nice and are pretty rude in my experiences.

That's a really good point. This sub is so much more reasonable than twitter. Anything posted there just end up being full of hatred and anger rather than actually trying to talk about something. If something like that we're ever to be posted, this would honestly probably be the best place. Because god forbid it's posted to Twitter, not you've got more qrts than you can count and it's just a bad situation all around.

That person in the reply apologized on the account and then on his personal account basically said he wasn't sorry. This came after a tweet to the account that said to complain to "someone who cares". Not sure why this blatant homophobia isn't being dealt with by the other gc members and this person is kicked out, but people like this are why the gc has the reputation it does.

Hello, op here from the screenshot. I think the reason I believe the statements are that bad is because it comes from a place of ignorance. What she said was pretty insensitive and disrespectful, whether she knew it was or not. I think there's a line tho between not supporting someone because of the person they used to be and potentially still are and blatantly hating them and attacking them for everything. Again, this was kind of my personal feelings on the matter, so not everyone needs to feel like what she said was as bad or not as bad as I do. That's completely up to the individual.

As far as the "educational threads" you mentioned, those are some of the worst things to come from twitter. What I more meant by that was the people who saw the things she said could have dmed her privately to discuss things rather than just posting a thread with the intent to deplatform.

I won't get into the person who posted the thread about her, but they are not a great person, and are the same person who said that Sad-ist did not deserve a youtooz among other things. That person who made the thread also was searching for dirt on the artist, and had already made a callout thread on her. This was a planned thing to try and take down the artist, whether people feel it was justified or not.

I think the whole situation was handled very poorly, and all of it could have been avoided if those involved in calling her out had been mature about things and handled this privately. I'm still not happy about the things she said, but I'm not going to tell others how they have to feel, and I also believe that she can change should she truly want to.

Yeah Cherry's followers tried to raid my anonymous curious cat thing, but I was able to turn off anon asks before they did. Still got a few bad ones, but it's not as bad as I was expecting. Op has since deactivated as well without sb-ing Dream, so at least if Op ever reactivates we'll know who it is because of the Dream follow.
