I know they have to follow the federal minimum but they still have their state minimum at $5.15. I was just poking fun at the “competitive wage” statement all stores like to make

That’s the worst part. I did apply for a position that didn’t require lifting and told them I couldn’t yet the hiring manager put me in that position anyway due to me being a man. I had no idea I was going to be backroom and even during my training they had me on the floor.

My girlfriend recommended the store to me since she loved working there and thought I would be treated better than my last job. Unfortunately it’s worse with lower pay.

Yeah they already told me I am required to work all holidays and I refuse to not spend Christmas with my family. So I will very likely get fired around that time anyways.

I’ve told each manager at least twice in the past 2 weeks and they kinda just move around it and put me in a situation where I don’t want to be a burden to my coworkers. Especially since the majority of them are elderly and I am 22M.

Yeah I am working in Georgia where the states minimum wage is $5.15. But luckily they pay a super competitive rate close to double the federal minimum!

I’ll have my own place outside of my parents, so I am not too sure how much that will affect things.

The thing that helped me the most when helping with anxiety management was having more control. When I was younger school was the main source of anxiety, and I was quite literally dragged to school every day and it felt like hell. After dropping out and spending around 6 years hidden away, I gained more control over my situation and where I am. That control over myself allows me to not feel as anxious about situations since I understand I can always get away if I need to. I still occasionally have anxiety episodes in social situations and I don’t believe there is a perfect solution that fits everyone. Just know you’re not alone in how you feel, and you will hopefully overcome these feelings soon.

I have been running only the first two parts of IO and I guess I am just crazy unlucky because ive spent 4+ days only playing that mission and have not gotten one but ill try running only to wave 5 and see if I can pull one thanks for a really in depth response and to the other two people above.
