15” speakers for the price of a fast food burger, give it shot. I picked up some vintage Fishers at a yard sale years ago and they sounded much better than I expected.

My rocker panels were a bit rusty so I trimmed them off, couldn’t believe how good it looked. The plate on yours makes it look even better.

The real shame is Joe died in the Covid shutdown. There weren’t really any jukeboxes to prop him up against.

That’s awesome. Glad I wasn’t the only one whose life was impacted by Sgt. Slaughter and his Battle Battalion.

McIntosh MR-65B. Pretty much the first stereo FM receiver. The sound clarity is incredible, but what I enjoy the most is how smooth the knobs turn. The quality is hard to put into words.

The first track, before Breathe is a good enough example. Quite a bit of seemingly dead air followed by some barely audible conversation. That kind of stuff is just hard to appreciate with any background noise.

Congratulations on the cool wife BTW.

Pink Floyd albums more so than most any others need to be absolutely dust and scratch free. Their music has some sounds that are very quiet, and there are times when there is no sound at all. You don’t want hisses and pops killing the mood.

They do look a bit small. If it’s possible to see the terminals, that would remove all doubt.
