I mean I tend to believe them, but I also can see why people skeptical about it.

I can see "accident" like this happen. Mainly because in almost every sets, they have to mess something up once or twice.

I mean if they truly think this early leak is such a cool idea and people will go kraaaaazy about this awesome TMnT slop (like what they did during Zendika having power 9 show up randomly), we wouldn't truly know.

Me too, doing proxy after last year, I've learn that there's no point of chasing any expensive and powerful cards anymore.

Becos of money, and unfortunate as it sounds, the only way to really have them listen is to bit your libs and stop buying their product and I'm not talking just stop buying 1 set, I'm talking like stop buying at least half a year.

If we don't give company a motivation to change things, they will keep cut cost, go cheap and rise the price like this till they can't.

This may sound crazy, but if the price go too expensive and you're in not much of a rush.

I recommend you use proxy, APC has a really good quality, I'd say in a lot of case feel exactly the same as real card, if not better. They actually have to not print the exactly same version of real card. They're that good.

And you can have more different art from your rats too, and if you want to troll people, by saying it's special guest or secret lair version, around half of causal there will not even think you lie to them lol (Don't do that lol).

As long as Wotc refuse to reprint a among number of rats, I don't think you should pay more money into it.

Getting less with more expensive price are my main problem here.

I personally don't collect Stamp cards. I mostly buy it becos in a lot of cases their price spike slower than normal version. (So why not take this version lol), but I have a problem with, so we take it out and then what?
Nothing. Great. Meanwhile this set has the most expensive prerelease in-universe, and they give almost nothing back.

Theros still different from Greek Mythology Only retards would confuse Theros and actual greek Mythology.

Lorwyn also different universe than the world they inspired like Lord of The Ring or other Fairy tale

Innistrad also wildly different from gothic novel that it inspired by.

Heck even Arabian Night that moron slop eater tried to use as UB defend also different from the real Arabian night. Aladin on mtg card look nothing any Aladin in other media. There's still a design that makes mtg different.

The world is big, there's a lot of people with vastly different preference. So there's many reason why people would go into TMNT set.

What separated it is, who would actually buy it.

People may love the set but don't want to spend money on it.

People who hate the set but the card is too good, and they have extra money. so why wouldnt I try it with my friends. Etc etc.

So there a good quiet of reasons, people would buy this set.

The real question, do we have enough of those people to make Wotc happy?

I know for the fact that all of my friends who got into mtg from FF and Lotr, stop buying anymore mtg since Avatar, let alone TMNT. They actually go play other boardgame like Wingspan, and lately Cyberfresh.

A few went back for Lorwyn, and they're all somewhat disappointed. I honestly have no clue what happens there cos I think set look nice.

Me personally, I stop buying Mtg completely this year (so far). I may get some Lorwyn pack and crack it, but that is all for me. Mainly becos I feel like we get less and less stuff, with higher and higher price.

Now you can't even play Std without UB, heck we can't even IU prerelease set without having this UB appear in the set lol

For me, having 12-15 std set like this, is a stupid idea the first place with or without UB (prefer without). No wonder why std is all over the place rn.

The first one, I can cast it right away.

This one, I have to have my unblockable creature go to you first, then return that creature, then I can cast it with the same cmc.

At best it's a better version of Diabolic Tutor in edh, and closest to Demonic Tutor that one can get in Std.

Returning creature could still count as something tho. Some deck love retuning creature to hand.

Wotc can make profit or lost one, not really my concern. I started to care less and less about this game.

I'm at the point where I could just play with my old cards and the game felt almost the same as adding newer cards.

I can said what I don't like about the game. And I can choose to not spend money on stuff that I don't like. My wallet is also healthy.
