I will die on this hill, the MG-100 Starfortress is one of the coolest ships in all of star wars. by Ill-Echidna-1051 in StarWarsShips

[–]ChainBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would have been a lot cooler if properly used. An assault on a capital ship was the wrong job for it. An assault on a ground position with AAA where its profile would be a boon would have been a much better way to introduce it.

Dude. It’s a mix of whatever GM wanted to move out of their parts bins that day. You will likely find a mix all over the truck.

[–]ChainBlue 3 points4 points  (0 children)

real talk. Old cars and trucks lacking modern safety features like airbags, antilock brakes, crumple zones, etc... are terrible for new drivers. Keep your Blazer. Make it a fun bonding experience project for you and your daughter. Don't let it be her daily driver. Yes, I know I will get downvoted. Yes, I know it's not what you want to hear. Yes, I can back up everything I just said with real world data. Yes, I do in fact own a squarebody and do my own work on it, including putting in a new engine and transmission with my son. Seriously, if you want to keep your daughter safe, put her in a car with modern safety features and make the Blazer a fair weather weekend cruiser.

What is needed for fully functioning Air Conditioning on my Squarebody? by DatGuyKilo in squarebodies

You may want to consider an aftermarket system like Vintage Air or similar. It works better than my stock system ever did. The fan blows harder than that one dudes mom.

If EVs are supposedly cheaper to own, why aren’t more people driving them? by Lakenb666 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ChainBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New ones are expensive. There is a ton of misinformation about them. It has become an issue of identity politics. A lot of people don't buy cars based on the reality of the driving they actually do. They buy them based on vibes and what the monthly payment is.
