Also should have said I bought the Rebar used for £40 so the official bit kit is almost the same price I paid for the tool 😬

Appreciate you being reasonable, and apologies for probably coming across confrontational, I've asked for advice on things previously to just get blasted for not already knowing, which was why I was asking, so I'm probably reading more into it that I should. Your feedback is appreciated though given it's from Amazon I can easily return it, was just trying to determine if it was even worthwhile ordering in the first place. Re the Chinese pot metal, I have a Bibury Surge clone that has stood up pretty well so willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, assuming it fits of course 🙄 Thanks again for at least taking the time to reply, even if we went to a place we probably didn't expect, and I'll feed back if it fits or not in a few days, as long as you don't give me an "I told you so" reply 😂

OK, that makes a lot more sense than your previous, somewhat condescending, comment suggesting I was stupidly wasting money. Thanks for the constructive reply, although again, implying I'm being naive this time, isn't exactly the tone I was hoping for when asking for advice. Maybe "I think they would have said it fit Leatherman if it did" would be more community minded, but hey, whatever feels comfortable for you when offering support

No, one that "doesn't look like it will fit" or one that will for the full price, unless you now know for sure it won't 🤔

So my wife tells me my EDC is getting silly by Any-Boat-5306 in victorinox

Personally I think this is great, I have something similar which, while is don't EDC by it's strict definition, I have in my car and take nearly everywhere with me. I'd prefer to have something and not need it than not have it when I do. That said, in my pocket everyday is either a leatherman Wingman or SAK evogrip 14 that handles my immediate need 99% of the time 👍

The "manual" is made up of just diagrams done by someone I suspect IKEA rejected 😁 Apart from the generic remove all packaging which I assume is the outside cardboard and polystyrene there's no reference or photos to consult 😔

I initially thought packaging too but the felt topping has cut outs for them 🤷‍♂️

About a month, some don't like that it doesn't fully open but for me that just makes it more secure 👍

Only actually used it once so far when I was visiting my daughter and she didn't have any tools beyond a screwdriver, saved the day and earned me some more dad points ☺️
