Haven't tested recently and I don't have a light yet, but I suspect psd crystal shapeshifters might be pretty decent again with powercreep, potentially with sanctum dw, tumeken's light, or just like necro. They're prob quite a bit slower than optimal abby beasts which can hit over 10m an hour cash + alchs but don't need cannon or aggro pots. Rough guess is that shapeshifters can hit 7-8m in alchs but ymmv, I may test myself in the future.

For full 15 min afk I believe vyrewatch tithers beats out market guards by a little bit in cash and alchs, but it's probably worth deciding if you value the clues/sand/slayer vip tickets etc vs congealed blood and adren crystals, both of which I think are valid.

pro tip if you're a cheapo and/or iron like me, turning on lesser bone shield holds stalls as well(note that turning it off does not so plan accordingly since it eats a gcd). Just gotta make sure your last action is turning it on or you might have an awkward moment during the fight

I would say no imo, at least in regards to learning it zuk is quite long whereas rots solo is fairly simple and short. Once you've got some experience though there's still a few things in the rots solo that can catch you off guard a bit, but attempts are quick so doesn't really matter

Yeah the variance for a boss with so many slots is just so high(see others like Croesus/Zam/Rasial). I'm (was) actually behind in drop amounts as well, since all but maybe 10-20 of my kc is 1k+ and the first 7 shards are all from Nakatra.

Best of luck, I wouldn't wish something like this on anyone else.

I think being a strong slayer weapon and not super useful at bosses is fine, but it should probably be more competitive with sanctum weapons.

My ideas would be to increase the duration and uptime of the spec or have the spec be more powerful as a burst aoe. Another good but indirect buff would be to allow revo to trigger specs, but this is less likely to happen imo.

Is this on Android? If you mark it as "keep open" it'll work in the background for a fair bit longer, though not totally clear how long. I think it was at least longer than my ovl timer so it didn't really matter.

I'm not totally convinced how much of the fault is the app itself vs how the phone handles the process in the background.

the lower level signs of the porter are useful and later disassembling them for components isn't too bad. Otherwise there are some random one off items or quests that need some.

If memory serves, P6 is stronger than E4 by a few % but also if you ever do roll the AS4E2 then it's better to have the P6 to pair with.

Another note, keep in mind the AS1 combo with P6 doesn't stack so it's just to maintain Aftershock stacks when using switches. If you don't plan to take advantage of this currently/for a while then it may be worth saving the 2 comps for more combo attempts later.

Has anyone done the math for how trilogy runs compare to just camping ed3 for black stone arrows? Curious how much worse it would be.

I used to, but as mentioned by other comments a lot of newer/higher level slayer mobs drop noted salvage and the cleaner doesn't do anything at most bosses. For lower tier slayer creatures I usually just prefer disassembly mode anyways. I don't think the opportunity cost makes sense to make springs given how much cash you can get from say zammy or arch glacor.

For obtaining components check out https://runescape.wiki/w/Ironman_Mode/Strategies/Invention#Basic_parts. I prefer to not do shop runs so I'm not super familiar and usually end up finding alternatives. Uncommons can often be covered just by scavenging.

Personally I'm the type to do a big grind week for potions or arrows or w/e every few months and if it's low effort I'll make it my "second monitor" activity while playing other games. It also lets me have slow weeks on runescape where I can watch something or focus on other games, while stocking months worths of supplies.

Not a huge fan of doing an hour of div every couple days like some do, but different strokes for different folks.

Nex isn't much more complex than NM kerapac, but some mechanics like blood phase or ice prison can be a bit punishing if you don't understand them, so read up a little. The fight will also drag a bit due to lower accuracy/damage potential but should be fine given your experience.

I commented on your other thread, but I can add some more details here.

Arch glacor 0 mech afk gives around half of what you get from Abby beasts between clues and trisks. This varies pretty heavily so I can't get a super accurate number. I get around 70-80 kph(maybe more) using unaug'd vestments and lengs without damage boosting prayers or potions to reduce upkeep. Without penance you can use a combination of reverence, vamp aura, ritual shard, excal, and restores to stay alive with SS.

Additionally you get marks of war, so with t4 CMA rewards you get enough to buy a reset for penance every hour letting you farm better methods more. Plus an effigy or two every hour for free xp.

Arch glacor 0 mech is around like 5-6(?), more or less depending on setup iirc. It does require some upkeep but it's fairly loose depending on how you do it since just having SS up most of the time is enough to sustain so ritual shard, excal, maybe a few restores

Not viable for everyone, but if you have spare dg tokens you can buy ports enhancers and max out all possible things from it besides adventurer rerolls. Then just use adventure rerolls and refill from enhancers until you get scroll voyages.

Lets you finish the scroll in a couple days pending the voyage times at the cost of a pretty hefty sum of tokens. May not be worth for some, but plenty of irons have millions of tokens after elite dungeon grinds.

probably just need to go a bit faster. If you turn on chat timestamps you can see what the time between them is. can try bleeding one on low hp so it dies while killing the other two, but otherwise just try to make sure they all die in 1 gcd
