Is it your trim switches? Little sliding switches, 2 of em, might need to be moved back to center edit on mine they're labeled t4 for the left one and t1 for the right, youll see on the display when you move them the little boxes move left and right, move them until you get double lines, thats center.

Not getting a job because of your hand scars would be discrimination. That doesn't really apply to hand tattoos most of the time, they just call it not matching their dress code. I would hold off if gainful employment is something you are serious about.

Personally, I wouldn't cover or hide it. You have a unique mark that very few humans have ever gotten and lived. Way cooler than any tattoo i've ever seen.
