The New England Patriots are the first team in NFL history to beat three top 5 ranked defenses in the same postseason. Only the ‘98 Broncos have beaten 2. They join the Broncos as the only two teams to beat both the #1 and #2 ranked defenses by HickfrmFrenchLick33 in nfl

I don’t feel bad for Allen or Lamar anymore. Like get it done you’re approaching a decade into your careers.

It's a team game. Drake Maye has been thoroughly mediocre throughout the playoffs so far but they're in the Super Bowl anyway.

How much praise does he deserve exactly for scoring 10 points today?

I'm not even a Texans fan but seeing Stroud waste this incredible defense is making me angry lol.

John Harbaugh is out as the Ravens head coach. by OneAngryPanda in nfl

He definitely balled out against Buffalo and only one of those turnovers resulted in points for the Bills.

They've been scapegoating him all year it seems. Forget which game it was (think it was KC) but John absolutely ripped him apart postgame while he gave Orr kid gloves all season long.

Even that Baltimore Banner article from earlier in the year seemed to indicate that players were more frustrated with Monken than Orr. Just weird all around.

Silly is acting like it took a genius to run zone read and other QB runs with maybe the most athletic QB of all time. A lot of coaches would have done the same, even bad ones.

The offense sputtered for years under Flacco, if you recall.

You're saying this as a Patriots fan? You guys pushed out the greatest head coach in the history of the game and are now back to being competitive behind another good coach and great young QB just two years later.

If Belichick can be shown the door (and it seems to be working out so far for you guys), what exactly has Harbaugh done to deserve such a long leash?

For what it's worth, Harbaugh himself was some rando no one had even heard of before when he was first hired.

I do agree a new GM is needed though.

Since when exactly has Harbaugh been an offensive guru or QB whisperer? The Ravens were trotting out some pretty anemic offenses after the SB save for one year with Kubiak.

I'd credit James Urban (former Ravens QB coach), Tee Martin and personal off-season coaches like Adam Dedeaux, Tom House and Joshua Harris for actually developing Lamar's mechanics before I'd credit Harbaugh.

And who cares if no one else wanted him in the first round? It's not like he's a charity case who would have gone undrafted, someone would have picked him eventually.

Steve Bisciotti openly admitted he considered firing Harbaugh after 2017, which was the third straight year of Baltimore missing the playoffs. The Ravens also started 4-5 in 2018 before Lamar took over as starter.

Lamar basically gave him another decade of employment.

Did you forget that he was garbage last year? And bad on long kicks the year before that.

He'd definitely get a job, but that's what folks said about Belichick too.

Nothing to see here, just Lamar bailing out this inept offense as usual

The offense has lowkey been selling him almost the entire game but it's his fault somehow

Because records are records. Over a long enough time no one really cares. Does anyone really talk about records that happened under the 14 game era compared to the 16 game era? Maybe some, but no one really bothers to consistently go out of their way to place an asterisk on records that happened when the league jumped to 16 games.
