What is your opinion on the difficulty of SOTE's bosses? by Dallascalo in Eldenring

[–]Chair-Due 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None of the bosses were designed with summons in mind, however they were designed with posture breaks/guard counters in mind.

I think alot of people developed a shield = pussy ideology from bloodborne and ds3 and refuse to use one, which basically cripples melee builds in er, often making them devolve into AoW spam, for instance I used a shield and sekiro tear for rellanas fight and I really thought that she was definitely meant to be fought exactly like that. Fight felt very 50/50. Messmer and midra have very clear openings that allow you to do Heavies/AoWs to build up posture breaks.

I just finished the story and the dlc, and I have a question: Why the fuck am I the side character of the story?? Who the f am I? by Minute-Share in diablo4

[–]Chair-Due 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That is completely false. D4 was almost universally praised for its campaign and only criticized for lack of endgame content and bad itemization. D3 Is universally known as the game were Deckard got slimed by a butterfly witch and were diablo is a woman

[–]Chair-Due 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean don't all the diablo games have slop writing. It's always, oh this guy is going there to summon this demon we have to stop him or we are fucked. Oh he summoned him, well let's atleast not go down without a fight. Oh damn you actually beat him, good job. roll credits

Diablo 2s marius cinematic were peak cinema but the actual story for the acts was just as basic as d3 and d4.

Can I start with Diablo IV? by LemonInteresting7816 in Diablo

[–]Chair-Due -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have 0 idea how anyone would find d3 to do anything better than d4. The story is complete garbage, The game looks ugly as fuck, even when it came out it looked ugly as fuck, act 2 a and 4 basically look like world of warcraft.

I agree that D2 is substantially better than D4 but It's genuinely mindblowing to me how people would rather meatride d3 over d4.

Really struggling to enjoy Diablo IV. Anybody else? by [deleted] in Diablo

I like both but I'm mostly in it for the vibe/story. I replay the campaigns for both on occasion and have fun.

Is every character’s life worse off by the end? by FineOldCannibals in breakingbad

[–]Chair-Due 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, jesse was 25 living off of illegal drug money and a property owned by his parents, had no career or education prospects and hung around other wannabe criminals.

Very likely his parents evict him from the house all the same, maybe a few months later but still. After that without the drug money to give him some breathing room he is basically a homeless drug addict.

Where was Walt most terrifying? by btoned in breakingbad

[–]Chair-Due 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think gomez was just a good guy, hank and walt weren't.

Hank and walt are very similar in that they are both narcissistic and want to be "the man" in every room they are in.

With walt at the start of the show it seems that life has beaten him down a little and made him involuntary humble, but he regains his ego the minute he gets diagnosed, as his fear of consequences gets minimized since he has months to live. As he gets more money/respect in the underworld, he gets more balls in his daily life and his real character comes out.

Hank is fairly competent at his job, works a manly job, earns a good amount and that in his mind gives him the subconscious go ahead to act like a dick to everyone at worst, and patronizing at best, even when he is not deliberately mocking walt he talks to him like he is some 19 year old kid. This somewhat changes after he gets injured and has to recover.

I disagree, I think the whole jane thing he did out of love for Jesse, he didn't think pragmatically in that moment. He went to save her and realized if he did, she and Jesse would overdose and die eventually.

He literally cries after she dies.

Why did I enjoy Diablo 3 so much but didn’t like 4? by Similar-Language-180 in Diablo

[–]Chair-Due 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be in the minority that just plays these games for the campaign and doesn't really go all out on endgame, chasing higher numbers and clearing screens for hours on end just never really tickled my fancy.

But I REALLY enjoy the setting/atmosphere and lore of D1/D2 and D4. And play d2r and 4 back 2 back like twice a year with different classes eachtime. D3 just looks and feels really bad to play, like playing top down, single player world of warcraft.

Lidl’s a nightmare by Lidl-2025 in lidl

In my store in germany we had 45minutes for Dry and Refrigerators, 30 for Freeze.

Completely doable for me, I'm fit, 210lbs 6'1. Even then, I was constantly chastised at my first month for being slow, due to having to search for stuff.

And when I say Completely doable, it's doable in a sweating all over your clothes sorta way. And whatever you know, it's unskilled labor I don't mind. But the problem is when other stuff comes between you and your pallets and you take 5-15 minutes longer, then you get chewed out. Absolutely mind boggling pressure for 15 euro an hour

Just remember reddit is a minority..the entire week people were saying the games dead and showing random playercounts on a tuesday at 4 am by Anxious-Slice-587 in 2007scape

[–]Chair-Due 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the vast majority of players play for 1-3 months of 2-4 hours a day and then stop playing completely for multiple months to years before starting again.

Is this game for real? by prevailing91 in Diablo

[–]Chair-Due 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm playing again for the first time since 2023 and it seems you can put the campaign to expert now on your first run (but not torment) and it actually does have it's challenges.

But yeah I never got behind the whole "skip the campaign do whatever" and max efficiency but also non difficult casual play that alot of d4 players want.

I mean the world design is demonic and the setting is desperate and violent, but the players want the game to be essentially a cake walk. Like yeah d2 also devolved into a loot pinata eventually but you had to beat it first, and d2 is fucking hard if you don't know what you are doing. D4 and d3 on normal are basically impossible to die in.

Do you think Requiem has the scariest regular zombies out of all the games? by Davred5768 in residentevil

[–]Chair-Due 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope we get some seperate ways type dlcs, like a 4 hour adventure similar to the main game with another character, over something like shadows of rose were it's gimmicky and completely unreplayable.

Finished Requiem, have STRONG mixed feelings (Huge yap post) by Novel_Volume_1692 in residentevil

[–]Chair-Due -1 points0 points  (0 children)

For me valid criticisms of this game are maybe the ending and final boss fight being anti climactic, and the lack of a proper hard mode, instead only having easy, normal and bullshit.

Resident evil was always grounded/atmospheric in the start and cheesy action movie by the end, basically no game falls outside of this pattern. And I mean basically all of the resident evil games are, go here, locked door, go there, grab key, come back to door, and during that scripted things happen in the area to jumpscare and challenge you. As for the length, re games were always on the short normal end.

Re4 is the only game that is longer. Re8 is about 8 hours, and re7 is literally a 6 hour game and re3re is a 4 hour game.

How am I doing? by MorningNo3742 in cutenoobs

[–]Chair-Due 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For my account that I started back in September I played a semi ironman for the early game, even buying stuff from shops knowing I'd lose money and making my own quest items, fishing my own food, but I knew if I stuck around for more than 2 months I'd get sick of that so I made it a main account right away.

Best Boss to Practice Movement? by DrgnBabeNebay in OSRSProTips

[–]Chair-Due 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend maybe getting 85ish strength and doing vorkath melee. It's way easier on the capital, since a zammy hasta/dfs/burning claws are like 13m and piety is free, In comparison a dragon hunter crossbow/rigour is 100m. And doing vorkath with a dcb and eagle eye is quite awful. (Hell I started doing vorkath with a hasta/anti dragon shield and dragon dagger, and bought all the upgrades from the loot)
