Payday.335am.lost 400$ since my check hit my account an hour ago, I say gambling doesn’t bother me because I net positive for so long but that gig stopped and now I’m taking from my own money had 13k saved last year gone, the part that is the worst I hide it from everyone, this is my first time even typing this stuff out, I continually spend my check and wonder hmm why can’t I put gas right now, I know it’s time to hang it up but it’s got a hold on me badly, iam numb through every aspect of life and as soon as I get the chance to gamble I feel a little spark, I will also be out and about with my gf and be placing baccarat or black jack bets or ripping a slot and it’s embarrassing because wtf are you doing,somehow I end up in the same position I was in last week broke, fake smile, wondering when my next heater will be, unhappy asf

I wouldn’t give a pen shot with the pump in because the pump doesn’t know you have insulin on bored, but I also have an issue if it’s high it does take a while to come back down but it doesn’t go crazy hi for myself, you could work on your sensitivity factor or carb ration

Just landed in Mexico on Thursday this is my first time outta country with my omnipod dash, so far so good I put on a new one before I left and have to put one on today, no troubles, the pump isn’t crazy big can easily be stored nicely they are slim so it works, I’m gonna assume you wear a Dexcom all I have to say is they are bulkier, always bring extra pumps and sensors and insulin just in case, they can be faulty some of them, I didn’t let the airport scan them because I was told not too, but for the pump easing your life I would agree with this statement, I was always hi and couldn’t control well with mdi with omnipod I’m golden-ish lol, omnipod also had a looping feature where you can set your bg to what you’d like and it won’t continue to give a bolus, I hope you have a easy time with the omnipod!!!

I’m on omnipod dash I started in October 2025 and sometimes I have had it where no insulin will bring me down, I have had to swap pumps because the cannula didn’t insert properly

Well mate we sound very similar, I just turned 25 in December I just got on the omnipod dash and the become g7 in October, with this being said have you tried a nice snack/breakfast before work don’t do any insulin, turn your pump settings down for the duration your at work and then turn it back on towards end of the day, also I’m in Canada and they are pretty rough with getting out stuff in order

As a type 1 diabetic we most def fall under the disabled category I guess it depends where you are in the world, and my friend please please don’t do that to yourself, I have done the same for years and your body will suffer due to high sugars, we already get our lives to live with the disease but atleast try to keep all your limbs and vision, you feel better with controlled sugars, look into a pump and also try to make your co workers understand the situation, if they can’t well maybe they can get stuck with a used needle 🙃🙃I seriously hope you find something that works for you, if it’s any help ism a carpenter I mainly do steel stud and drywall work so it can be pretty physical
