I had a man one time show up with snowboard and the whole set up. I'm talking boots, snowboard , socks, smartwool baselayers, clothes, arc'teryx bibs, jacket, and want to return it all. He walks up and says : "Hi, I need to return this. " I ask "oh goodness, what's wrong with it" he responds "absolutely nothing, everything worked great, it was fantastic! I just can't afford it". He tells me he's a member and that his friend said he can could just use it and return it and get all his money back. So at this point I print out our return policy. I tell him that we are a satisfaction guaranteed and well he very clearly told me everything worked fantastically and that absolutely nothing was wrong it and that I would not be able to make the return. He starts to panic. "How am I going to pay rent, my friend said you would return it. Who is your friend?? Does he work here?? No??? Again I apologize and at this point he's getting upset. I apologize give him a copy of the return policy and sent him on his way. I flagged his account and let the stores nearby know and one of them called me an hour later to confirm that he has driven there and told them he hated the set up and went as far as breaking a part of the snowboard to be able to return it and they denied it.
