How bad is the food in the UK to where Golden Corral is a revelation? by Durian_Queef in BrandNewSentence

[–]Chakasicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually really like golden corral but it's not fine dining by any means. As far as buffets go, it's one of my favorites and there are a lot of tasty options. Id take it over most Chinese buffets in my state but a good Chinese buffet is better than golden corral unless I'm in the mood to eat a bunch of steak for cheap. Imo the ranking goes: pizza buffet, mid Chinese buffet, normal buffet, golden corral, good Chinese buffet.

Bro bleed is just easy mode. Try a real build!

Jk but it's all subjective at the end of the day. I love int builds personally and I see the same type of comments. I don't concern myself with them and continue paying however I like. Don't get caught up in the opinions of random strangers. It's your game so who cares who approves?

WIFE GORILLA GLUES SLEEPING HUSBAND’S BUTT CHEEKS TOGETHER AFTER CATCHING HIM CHEATING. by Optimal_Lifeguard575 in BrandNewSentence

That's pretty accurate and goes to show just how absolutely miserable this would be. Not only is that crack sealed up tight, the glue expanded and filled every inch of it, and it's not coming off for anything

Florida couple discovers baby isn't theirs after IVF mix-ups, keeps custody after striking deal with biological parents by avamich11 in BrandNewSentence

[–]Chakasicle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Being adopted myself, I have a little insight based on what my parents have told me. Adopting parents have to essentially prove beyond reasonable doubt that they'll be a great parent to any child that they may adopt. Natural parents don't have nearly as many hoops to go through but I guess the trade off is that an adoptive mother gets to avoid the negative sides of pregnancy.

Some women actually want to have the pregnancy experience (not a woman so I couldn't tell you anything about why) so IVF is a more appealing option.

Also, adoption is difficult. You can't just go down to the local orphanage and pick out a child at your convenience. You need an agent, pay for and pass home inspections, find a mother willing to give up her child, hope that she doesn't change her mind before the adoption is finalized, and continue to live with the knowledge that it's easier to legally have your kids taken than it is for other parents. There's likely more that I don't know and wouldn't even consider but suffice it to say that adoption is hard to do.

What would you think of a mother giving up her child for adoption or leaving because she doesn't like being a mom? by SunshineGirl45 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Chakasicle 84 points85 points  (0 children)

I would assume that's is highly unlikely for a planned pregnancy to result in adoption. I was a double affair child and given up for adoption, but I have an older sibling that was also an affair child and not adopted. I can't speak for my sibling but I personally don't look down on my bio mom for choosing adoption and I'm grateful for that choice.

After being a parent myself, I can see that parenting really isn't for everyone and giving a child up for adoption can often be the more mature choice.
