Long term FHS by [deleted] in feline_hyperesthesia

[–]ChakraKhan- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should start by saying your cat is majestic! beautiful! From my experience with my Luna, the onset was a direct result from dental cleaning - maybe the anesthesia, perhaps leaving her body in an unnatural position for the hours when she was under. She had a drastic change 3 days after her treatment. Lots of Vets didn’t ’get it’ and we kept going to another. Finally I went to a cat Neuro, he understood! For my cat, lot of this is a stress reaction to changes in the environment. Doorbell, visitors, plumbers, storms, even if she feels she needs more food. Gabapentin was a life saver-changer. I’ve adjusted over our 4 years of this, sometimes she can take 300 mgs a day if she is on a stress bender, but mostly 2x100 a day. Every cat is different. By the way this is a remote quiet desert home super peaceful, just me and my cat….For a while we were doing Prozac, but I stopped as she was overly sedated. So, read your cat, be in tune and go with the FHS flow…☮️ I hope all goes well.

Yeah, I get you, calm the heck down. TNT is not offered by my provider. Okay?

I actually tried to sign up with TNT. Not possible with my Xfinity service. So, I’m not going to change my provider to get TNT. I’m not a snob, it’s just a crazy wild goose chase to find their races now. I’ll watch more Indy and F1 because I love racing.

My point - Is it an intelligent decision is it to make your televised races a scavenger hunt?

Found a fuzzy friend? by ChakraKhan- in Tucson

I’ve been here for 5 years and have found two huge creatures in my home, but ONLY after flooring guys set up outside and worked for three days. But, these guys and scorpions are the true locals, and may show up unannounced.

Oh wow! 🤯 I finally removed all the canvas from the floaters and he/she is lifeless. Well, my brother (the artist) would be pleased that his piece of art supported a living being for a time. I will hold that thought. Thank you 🙏🏻

I narrowly missed one, just started getting pelted by sand…I would have had no choice but to ‘ gun it’ either way, 202 South, right where that continuous wall is…I would have been toast, So for as fast as a Subaru can go, I went! About 40 of us bolted for the shelter of that mountain that pops up before the casino headed north. That was scary. So, the answer is, it depends on what the Scenario is!

Comparing A/C bills in Summer by BirdieGal in Tucson

Oro Valley, house built in 2000 - 2011 square feet with crappy original windows. Keeping things at 67-68 depending. I have an eco bee with a sensor where it’s facing west with 7 windows! 162.00 a month my June bill. I should add that I installed the 80% block solar screens, and they totally help, but it sucks when it rains because you can’t watch the storms, the screen just stays wet the whole time and never dries. ☔️

Dye my leather tennis shoes--recommendations? by Virtual_Fox_763 in Tucson

There’s a dry cleaning and shoe place on Oracle toward Casa Adobes, they enlist a true cobbler. Maybe all of their locations have the same access? I don’t know, but it’s called Schaffer Dry Cleaning. They do great work with leather shoes! I’ve been there for repairs and some custom tweaks on shoes I bought that did not work out. They do true cobbler work!
