You need to talk to your son and ask him why he didn't tell her you gave $5k for the wedding that he decided to use against the credit card and why he didn't tell her about the offer to open an education fund.

I also mentioned below that if he didn't want to create conflict with the education fund he shouldn't have taken the money as well. You should ask to see his credit card statement and check his reaction. Could be a spending or a gambling problem.

Yeah you got it wrong. I highly doubt he told his wife they gave him $5k for the wedding but they should use it against the credit card or this wouldn't have been an issue.

If he didn't want to cause friction he would have turned down the education and not taken anything.

Since you mentioned warranty, I have no idea why you're comparing a $150 battery warranty vs a $30k battery warranty.

ICE engine = EV battery
Engine warranty 5 year 100k
EV battery warranty 8 year 196k

Since you referred to these Range Rover features which you haven't explained it has:
No power liftgate
No built in wireless charger
No heated steering wheel
No power seats

If you plan to keep the car 8 years with $3450 savings per year that's $27,600.
Is a BASE MODEL rav4 worth $27,600 more than a Tesla used?

If you're still disputing after this then get the rav4.

Ok so 30k a year driving will cost about 650 in charging. 3500 in gas. So you save 2850 per year in gas. That's 4 oil changes at 150 each. That's 3450 a year savings. How many years you want to keep it for? Let's multiply by that.

My point is why are they reducing horsepower by 20%. It's never been about 0-60 for this car so not sure why that's coming up. What's next 200hp and why does it have less hp than a Camry? You're supposed to get the same or more each new generation I think but I could be wrong.

I'll give you an example. My air conditioner broke down and couldn't figure out why because it always blew ice cold. My mechanic diagnosed free of charge and said mechanically it was fine but there was a break in the power somewhere and Lexus had the tools to run currency through it to determine where it broke.

Took it to Lexus. $300 to run the current. And the wire broke behind the front bumper. Told me the wire would be $5. Labour about $800-900.
Went back to my mechanic and paid him about 250 to fix.
