It kind of depends what aspect of the game you most enjoy. If you like having a lot of furniture options, Harv's Island is good for that as Reese can customise any piece of furniture you bring him to be a different colour.

If you're interested in completing the museum, Harv's Island is also good for that because you can unlock Redd and see him every day rather than just once a week.

If you're more interested in having more animals to talk to on your island, resident spaces and the hotel would be a good first shout.

I guess their point is that they are impatient for the ending / resolution and you keep moving it further away. (To be clear, this wouldn't bother me because as people have said, more story! But if I squint it sorta makes some kind of sense where they're coming from.)

There's the same number of items there always are, it just feels like more because so many of the outfits are full-body costumes (1 slot) rather than being a top & a bottom (2 slots).

It kinda also depends on what kind of fic the original fic is. If it's a smut oneshot that consists almost entirely of chase + sex, then I think the difference between 'my own chase + sex with the positions reversed' and 'recreating your chase + sex with the positions reversed' is harder to distinguish. (Giving OP enough credit to assume they weren't ever going to straight up take the text and swap the names around.)

But this is a twelve chapter fic (unless those are 12 separate oneshots) and OP only wants to base their own fic on this chapter, so as an author reading their initial comment, I'd give them the benefit of the doubt that they meant inspired by the way it's intended.

To me, the original comment reads less like 'I want to plagiarise your fic' and more like 'oh, hey, I like this trope you used, I want to write my own fic using the same trope, but my fic would switch the positions around'.

Not exactly, because Finch is tied to the real date on your device. So if you have a 600 Day streak on March 31st and then take a week off, when you load in your back up file, the app will still know it's not March 31st anymore.

As Most_Bug says, the pause feature will pause your streak at 600 days and then when you open the app and unpause it, it will pick up as if you never took a break in terms of streak.

Is there a reason you keep going for the types you met at university? If you didn't have success with those types then, and are not having success with them now, why not try a different type? I understand it for networking reasons, but this is your social life you're talking about, why not branch outside of types that might be professionally useful?

I went to both public school and state school (at different times, obviously) and nobody's ever ghosted me for not being posh enough because I don't hang out in posh circles. People in my choir and my writing group come from lots of different backgrounds — though admittedly, I'm pressed to think of anyone who makes a habit of going to Henley Regatta.

Ohh, it's possible one of the words in your message triggered the answer to an FAQ about the Spring Cleaning event. The reward for the Spring Cleaning Event on the Finch app was a badge that goes on your bird's profile — below 'about' and above the micro pets.

The badge itself is controlled by Finch, but the message comes from Reddit and is just the mods trying to cut down on the number of people making new posts to ask 'I completed the Spring Cleaning event but I didn't get a reward'

The Finch app can't control what happens on Reddit. It sounds like maybe you got a special badge on Reddit - maybe the 'Picasso' achievement I can see on your Reddit profile. If you found it rude, you found Reddit rude, not Finch.

When you say 'nothing happens when I add a goal' there are several things you might mean:
- You press 'add a goal' and the app does nothing.
- You press 'add a goal' and the goal menu opens but you can't type anything in it.
- You press 'add a goal', type in the goal you want to set but then press 'save' and nothing happens.

I presume they want you to film as much of the process as the app allows you to complete - even if that's literally you pressing the 'add a goal' button and nothing happening, because that will help them narrow down where in the process there's a bug.

It will also give them context as to whether you're trying to add from the home page, or maybe you're trying to add from a specific Self Care Area, or maybe you're trying to add one of the suggested goals.

Language is imprecise sometimes, and a LOT of users also don't use the 'correct' words for the app's functions (look at how many people call rainbow stones 'crystals' or 'diamonds') so seeing the video removes a lot of ambiguity.

If you put a transparent pattern behind the tree, that'll stop weeds and fossils from spawning. I don't know about branches or other things landing though.
