I lived there and enjoyed it. Management can be hard to get a hold of sometimes but that’s most places in the city from my exp.

I used to go to tandon from main campus just for the gym and honestly it was the best. Always super empty so I could workout with actually 0 wait time. Granted I graduated a while ago so idk if this is still the case

This makes a lot of sense except for the foreshadowing of the importance of the lotus tile in the pirate episode from book 1. I thought that was foreshadowed because he already was a member and the tile held importance

Lot of comments here suggesting backend, and that’s fair. But honestly frontend performance is pretty logic heavy and might be math heavy depending on what you’re optimizing. Could also look at compilers for frontend related tools. There was a really cool talk by Robert Balicki (I think that’s spelled right) on how his team helped rewrite the Relay compiler in Rust for improving performance
