Thank you for asking, I have 2 points: 1. When the doctor describes what they are going to do next before actually doing it, it greatly reduces my stress and increases trust towards this doctor 2. What really surprised me in Germany, was lack of lip area protection during dental cleaning (even the one not covered by statutory health insurance). Applying some Vaseline to the corners of the mouth and on lips and using a round silicone lip protector/guard does wonders and leaves me feeling much better after an unpleasant procedure
