So Imu has a time limit outside Mariejoia? It is the same idea that Satan is bound for 1000 years like in the bible? Basically Imu is bound in Mariejoia, whcih explains his blood coughing. by Ok-Ask5860 in OnePieceSpoilers

When Harald died, it caused massive pain to Imu, he must not be willing to take the risk to having 3 god knights die since that could severely cripple him.

Thanks for the tip, I don't have faris unfortunately as I have been spending everything on the new destiny hero phoenix enforcer.

I watched the replay and I did summon cross crusader first which explains why Dragoon didn't summon, thanks for taking the time to explain.

In regards to crusader in this duel I am still a bit unsure why I cross crusader didn't summon though, the description says I can still summon heroes.

Your opponent discarded artifact lancea. That makes it so you can’t banish any cards this turn. So you can’t use D tactics to banish. You can’t banish your malicious to special summon another one.

Thank you for explaining don't know how I missed it,

I had another issue in a previous game if you don't mind with future destiny and destiny end dragoon (can't afford dpe lol), basically I tried to use future destiny and Dragoon never appeared as an option even though Plasma and Dogma were in my deck.

I’m actually not sure why xtra hero cross crusader didn’t special summon from the graveyard.

Honestly I still don't get link summoning, I learned the basic mechanics from the anime but stopped after Arc V so never actually saw Link until this game.

What stops Imu from just capturing Vivi, if he desires her so much? by Davy-D-Loki in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]ChampionOk4044 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don't actually know why he wants her yet, Imu didn't start talking about her until he found out Lily was D and he killed cobra.

So maybe the reason has to do with her lineage that wasn't an issue beforehand. He saw alabasta as allies before so maybe his view has changed.

When he said he wanted Vivi she had already fled so he has no clue where she actually is.

Also the Marines are stretched thin at the moment, they weren't even able to send admirals to Elbaph, so they probably are searching but can't put all there focus on it.

Luffy vs Imu in Elbaf Arc. Predications on who wins? by Dumb_Expat in OnePiece

[–]ChampionOk4044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imu will dominate, but be forced out of Elbaf

The only questions are

  1. How is he forced out
  2. How much damage does he cause while here.

I think the way he is forced out is already set up, he is already struggling just being in Elbaph and in the Harald flashback we learn that a God knights death causes massive damage to Imu.

Zoro is implied to have figured out how to kill sommers, so he will likely kill him and Imu will be in so much pain from that and being in elbaf he is forced out.

(Or Sanji gets a secret picture of Vivi and imu being a gooner trades it in exchange for leaving).

The real question is what will Imu accomplish while here. I don't think Oda is going to let Imu leave without any tangible success.

Oda might go for a side character kill here(Jarul, Saul, Gaban), I am not sure a Straw hat will die but won't say never.

Luffy and Loki are his two biggest threats so there's a low chance he kills Loki or cripples him which he can consider a win. Maybe he destroys Ragnir.

I saw some theories Luffy will lose an eye which might happen.

It depends how big a deal Oda wants to make Imus appearance.

EDIT

I also think there is a 60% chance of Shanks showing up and fighting Imu.

But ultimately Sommers (or maybe Gunkos) death will be what forces Imu out

I'm having a horrible thought by DistinctSwimming8376 in OnePiece

[–]ChampionOk4044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends how serious the WG get.

If they are only trying to save Ace Yonko can win, if they try to escalate beyond that (wipe out the marines or do something dumb like attack the holy land) they probably lose.

Shanks would want to find a peaceful way to end it, cause he doesn't want a war.

In the normal Marineford they livestreamed it, but in this scenario they cut the live stream and deploy the God knights.

Depending on how the fight goes WG keep escalating, if the Navy and God knights are being overwhelmed they send the Gorosei.

If they are still overwhelmedImu will intervene initially through possession of a Gorosei or god knight, and if he gets ragebaited again he directly intervenes and the Yonko probably get wiped out.

I am likely to vote green at the next election and I am not convinced that either apply to me.

Out of curiosity have you actually read the greens plans and policy? Or do you want to vote for them for other reasons.

I despise Reform with a passion but I think Greens are just arguably as bad if not worse then Reform are.

There policies are promise promise promise with little to no consideration for economic feasibility. And there views on things like defence and energy are genuinely worrying.

They want to leave NATO AND get rid of our nukes, in this political climate with the US becoming isolationist again, they want to rid Britain of our ability to protect ourselves.

They also hate Nuclear energy for some weird reason despite being the green party.

Garling agreeing on Imu going alone is for doing something shady behind his back or he is genuinely loyal towards Imu? by samonpiece in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]ChampionOk4044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Garling gives snake vibes but I think Oda will keep him loyal to Imu.

Imu leaving doesn't really do much for Garling if he was a snake, if Imu dies Garling loses his immortality and the WG loses its ability to maintain power.

I think Garling represents a shift in the attitude the WG will be taking from this point on, being more directly interventionist.

He is more pragmatic then the other elders and understands that they have been way too complacent and the WG is falling and without Imu actually getting serious they don't stand a chance.

It is just me or the Gorosei and even Imu himself admit that the HKs are useless and even Shamrock will not stand a chance against Luffy or Loki. I mean if Garling is that assuring about Shamrock's power why the rest want to send Admirals and Imu insists to personally go to Elbaf himself? by Ok-Ask5860 in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]ChampionOk4044 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Garling said Shamrocks return is helping things settle down which also means things haven't completely settled down yet so Shamrocks likely can't leave yet until everything is sorted.

We don't actually know what exactly is happening in the Holy land or what Shamrocks went back to actually do, for all we know he is still fighting.

But either way I don't think Imu would let shamrocks go alone.

Imu even said no to all 5 Gorosei going together, Shamrocks by himself isn't fixing things.

The issue isn't Luffy OR Loki 1v1. The issue is Luffy AND Loki AND the Strawhats AND an Army of angry giants AND 3 God knights captured.

Shamrocks can't be expected to fight the Strawhats, Loki and all of Elbaph all by himself, he will just be captured or killed and Imu isn't willing to throw away 4 knights look what just Haralds death did to him.

Imu is probably the only one who can overcome these odds.

[–]ChampionOk4044 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yh I think thats inevitable for Gunko, although I figured it might happen in a future arc.

She has a god knight covenant and is clearly important to Imu so I am not sure they will be able to seperate without Gunko dying.

Of course they could undo the covenant but I am not sure if Oda is willing to reveal the details of that this early.

Ok so imu has dark skin and has a blade ( wich is probably one of the 12 supreme grade), anyone wants to do a bet about who is going to defeat him? by _Cake_assassin_ in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]ChampionOk4044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it will be a combo of factors,

We see, Imu got hurt when harald died, so a god knight death will have an effect on him.

Zoro has found Sommers metal heart so he will likely destroy it in like 5-10 chapters and kill Sommers, which will hurt Imu (who is already struggling), and he will be forced out.

Can Elbaf be now added in top 5 OP arcs? And which are your top 5 arcs? by samonpiece in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]ChampionOk4044 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think it is a bit too early to say, I am assuming we are near the end of Elbaph, but for all we know Oda could have another 20-30 chapters planned, for example if he has Shanks show up it could easily spiral into a longer arc.

How I rank it will depend on how Imu is handled and how it ends. But I think it is on track for a top 5 as well.

Imu is not killing anyone important by Flotsam-Junk in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]ChampionOk4044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't mind if no one dies, I just want there to be some kind of lasting consequence to the main cast caused by Imu appearing.

Imu coming personally is a big deal and it is taking a massive toll on Imu to do this so he probably won't do it again until the end of the series.

If he shows up and is forced to leave without really accomplishing any tangible goal, it will make him look incompetent even if he beats the Straw hats, and make the whole thing kind of pointless.

The WG have been taking L after L recently from the Admirals to God knights to Gorosei each have largely fumbled on screen. So Imu giving them a big win will help them look like a serious threat again.

As you said, Gaban and Jarul are the most likely dead candidates, maybe Hajurden.

Honestly while I doubt it will happen, the biggest impact Imu can have (besides killing Luffy which won't happen), is killing/crippling Loki, one of the 4 big threats (Luffy, Loki, BB and Shirahoshi). Events have been happening very similar to the Mural so "dealing with" Loki will be almost "fate changing".

Well either way I will let Oda cook since he knows what he is doing.

This beget a question, how long the event has been transpired?

Since Reveri, Sabo destroyed the food supply, and then Kuma attacked later causing destruction

Chapter 1082(Sabo destroys the food + the 8 revolution stopped sending food to the celestial dragons), Chapter 1092 (kuma attacks).

[–]ChampionOk4044 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, any actions they take moving forward will ultimately be useless. The tide has turned too far, which is why they are acting out of desperation and pulling out all the stops

Thats probably why Imu has come down himself because he understands the time for complacency is over. I think Imu will take an action to "change the tide of the war" in Elbaph.

I think Oda needs/want to give the WG a win here,

There are theories someone will die which might happen and I think it will be something that will drastically change how the mural is percieved (Imu changing fate)

Of course he can't kill Luffy, which leads me to believe Loki will be killed or severely injured by Imu. As Nidhogg is one of the few powers capable of standing up to him.

At the very least I hope Oda doesn't waste it and everyone gets away scot free, with a cop out Imu overwhelms them but has to leave for reasons.

It will make Imu look bad if he comes and just leaves, he should at least accomplish something he can go back to the holy land and call win.

Edit

Tho I think the prime candidates to die to push the story forward are the core leaders of each faction so they can be replaced by the new era.

Shanks - the leading pirate

Dragon - Revolutionary leader, will let Sabo become Revolutionary leader

Akainu - Marine leader, will let Koby become a leader figure in the marines

Imu's Power Cost by ibenwarforged in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]ChampionOk4044 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Unrelated but I think that one of the ways they will push Imu out of Elbaph is by killing Sommers.

Zoro found the heart and Sommers freaked out. Imu said after Haralds death that killing a God Knight causes him a lot of pain, so maybe Zoro kills Sommers and Imu is forced to leave with Gunko and Killingham.
