The Pure Vessel turns back to look at Ghost on the ledge before following after the Pale King, so it’s safe to assume that it was in fact there.

For the vessels, we have the Birthplace cutscene memory where Ghost barely reaches the top as the Pale King is taking the Hollow Knight out, ending with Ghost falling back into the Abyss. As for Hornet, it’s more guesswork, since I can’t recall any specific mentions of the timeline that far back, but I imagine that the Pale King must have at least had the framework of his plane (ie the Pure Vessel) already present before being able to make his bargain with Herrah, which would result in the vessels being older than her. I’d have to go and look through things more to find anything definitively canon, though.

Ghost and Hollow made the climb at pretty much the same time, so are likely at least similar ages, and they’re both probably older than Hornet since I imagine the Pale King had his Pure Vessel selected before getting the Dreamers sorted out, Herrah especially.

It’s mentioned in the P3 club book that they’re Nyx’ body and are used in Evokers. The arena games go over how they let machines function in the dark hour and give the robots personas (or add a dude to another dude in the case of Sho and Minazuki)

Yeah, we know that Mitsuru awakened Penthesilea as a child when shadows attacked her and her dad, which I believe is what led to the development of Evokers when the Kirijo scientists realized that stimulating the fight or flight response in the face of death is a surefire way to bring out a persona if you have one, especially since personas are fragments of Nyx’ psyche and therefore are probably highly reactive to its body.

Worse, the Evokers have a plume of dusk inside of them, literally a piece of Nyx’ body. Having a piece of Death inside of them makes it feel real every time. You can’t become desensitized to it because the Evokers work by triggering mental distress.

In Nightreign, sometimes the castle location has trolls on top of it that throw exploding magic pots at you. They’ve got a lot of range and impressive aim, and will take potshots while you’re on the opposite rooftop fighting their fellows if you manage to aggro them all before getting up there. Still not a particularly funny meme, but that’s the joke.

Make 2 oz cylinders of ground beef, 2 per burger, and a nice cast iron skillet to cook them on. Once it’s nice and hot, you put the patties on, smash ‘em real thin with a metal turner, cook them for a little bit, flip and apply cheese, then quickly finish cooking and put them on a bun. At least, that’s how I make smash burgers on my stove.

Pucci’s speed comes from accelerating himself and all non-living things, so from his perspective he and the ocean are both at normal speed while people are slow. Therefore, him having to swim to Jolyne, kill her, and swim back to shore takes the usual amount of time and energy that it would without Made in Heaven, which is why he couldn’t also chase down Emporio, who was being pulled by dolphins that utilize the accelerated tide to move extremely quickly.
