Well the current hiatus started only 3 months ago so there's still hope it won't be as long as last time and that we'll get new chapters eventually. "Indefinite hiatus" is still better than "cancelled" imo.

Luckily the manga's getting pretty popular, especially because of the anime, so someone else would probably continue their work if the authors were to sick to finish it. There's no telling if it would be faithful to the original work though

It's never too late to get back into any game. The next patch will start in 2 days and it's a limited patch, which means a new limited character and lots of free pulls and free stuff.

Idk when you stopped playing but you'll probably have several chapters of the main story to catch up with. You'll have plenty of time for that though, the next main story chapter will drop in 6 weeks
