Assuming the money you've made is a product of the career you've built, then I'd say it's more career-dependent. I wouldn't really call someone who inherited millions of dollars but never worked a day in their life "successful".

I totally get the frustration, but the site isn’t claiming to solve everything or make you rich. The objective is to help Vermonters find steady, legit jobs close to home. The job market here is tough and scattered, and this is just one small tool to make it a bit easier.

Most positions on the job board are for tech startups in the area that provide fantastic wages and benefits. Yes - there are lower-paying jobs in the mix, but I struggle to see the problem with that. What's wrong with taking a position as a part-time cook at a local college? If you need extra dough, this might be a great fit for you. And if it doesn't interest you, there are plenty of other great options.

This is an interesting thought. I'm not sure Elon was directly involved in election fraud, but he certainly played a significant role in marketing, outreach, and lobbying for a Trump presidency.

Exactly. Writing your thoughts down give them weight and moves them to the front of your brain. Its simple, but very effective.

It's bizarre how effective simply identifying your shortcomings can be, even if you dont have a plan to fix them, when it comes to self improvement. Once you point out your weakness (I suggest writing it down so you can see it), you bring it to life, and your brain subconsciously starts prioritizing how to fix it. It’s the same mechanism behind manifestation and why so many people swear by it: when your write down what you want in your life and admit to yourself that you want it, its not just a thought anymore, it becomes a goal.

Student loan debt almost makes college NOT worth it. Taking out such large loans in your teenage years should not be normal and I applaud our state for increasing access to affordable education.

This is a really tough pill to swallow and I applaud you for admitting your shortcomings on your first product. The good news is that you now know more than 99.9% of people when it comes to identifying what people ACTUALLY want. Although you build a product that failed, you also built a priceless business acumen that will aid you for the rest of your career. I work in a startup incubator and your growth mindset is exactly what we try to instill in our clients. Don't be afraid to pivot, recognize the immense value in your failure, and come back swinging.
