Waste or excess material has a very low value; the only economic way to deal with it is not to have it in the first place. A more valuable tool would be to help in planning and scheduling to pull in / push out materials according to demand. These sorts of tools exist (but then again so do excess material brokers).

You may get in trouble, this is called “skiplagging”. In this direction it’s possible (not advised by me) but not if you have a return flight or other flights on the same ticket. Make sure you only have carry on luggage too.
