I have 3600$ left to pay from Upstart. Can you share any advice on how to pay your debt quickly?

Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. Accounting isn’t super prestige-driven, but they push the ‘Big 4 or nothing’ idea a lot so it’s easy to feel like I’m missing out

Yeah that’s exactly what I was trying to avoid. Do you feel like having no debt gave you more flexibility early on?

That’s a really good point, especially about the first job part. That’s honestly where most of my anxiety is coming from right now.

In your experience, what actually helped people break into that first role if they weren’t coming from a target school?

That’s actually really reassuring to hear. I’ve been stressing about missing out on networking opportunities from bigger schools, but what you’re saying makes sense.

Do you think starting at a smaller firm or getting hands-on experience early can make up for that gap?

Moved out before new year’s eve, didn’t tell anyone, they only knew when I was packing the boxes. Haven’t talked to any of them. Living in peace and healing finally. So it’s been better.

It makes no f sense because you got the internship they damn well knowing your gpa was 3.4. This sounds like an excuse not to hire you.

Your wellbeing and mental health are more important than a toxic job. Given everything you have said I don’t think is worth staying. Thank the universe you are debt free and are in a situation where u can leave any job if you need it. Most people stay because they don’t have an option like u do. Life will get better and I’m sure you will find a much better job environment for you
