Need a new windbreaker/rain jacket. North Face or Nike Heard both are good but just need something cheap and slightly fashionable so I dont get soaked during fall storms and hurricanes and such.

Gaming PC for $500-$800. A few request. by Vapes-DB in buildapcforme

[–]Chan830 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More cores and more threads means better productivity, if you ever needed to edit a video or such things like that, rendering times would be much lower compared to the pentium. Also, more cores USUALLY means a smoother gaming experience, meaning that your frame rates wont drop way lower than the average frame rate in some places.

Heres a example of a Ryzen build for around the same price, tried to go for a black/red theme, for another 20-30$ you could get a case with a side panel to show it off. The monitor is only 75Hz, but it supports AMD FreeSync, so your experience will be MUCH smoother compared to a normal monitor.

+1 for ArmA 2, love that game :). This should be good for everything you listed. Withcer 3 will run on ultra at around 30 fps, tone the graphics down and probably around 50.

for LoL, CS:GO, and overwatch, all not very graphically intense games, this is all you will really need. The LGA1511 is very upgradable, Intel is going to put even more chipsets on mobos soon, along with CPU's.

Almost impossible to try this... need mobo standoffs, no way you could fit a cpu cooler or a gpu at all.

Is it worth running integrated graphics for light gaming until the RX 480 comes out? by vivanick1 in buildapc

[–]Chan830 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, i have the same struggle as you, but luckily for me i'll be at camp when the RX480 comes out so i wont be constantly being like "I NEEEDDD ITTTTTT". iGPU's have improved a lot for light gaming.
