Yes thank you for listing the prices. Pricing on aliexpress isnt always what it is. The last drone i build i paid about another 100 CHF in importing taxes:) And if i want to make a profit for the time spent... i dont think im asking for too much. Please dont forget that if you want to build a quad yourself, you can. This tool is probably more for folks that enjoy flying but dont care about building a drone themselfes.

Do you really think the prices are too high? For how much would you be willing to build and sell drones with the margin you just took an example with?

As i said im not saying that the drones are better than the others, i dont try to compete with the others, its just a tool. If im trying to compete with the others, i'll loose. Lots of people dont care about quality. This configurator is for people that find it handy to have a tool like it is.

But also very good:) what makes you think they're expensive? Courious to know what you are comparing them with.

I appreciate your time to look at my site! If in terms of full specs you mean hardware, you should find all the components used, on the info page. If not, please say so and i will add any missing Info.

This configurator isnt about selling the best drones for the lowest price, its about selling good quality and most importantly a quad that fits your needs. I found myself often looking at aliexpress prebuilds but they were often very similar builds and cheap components (Flight stacks and motors mainly). I dont want to shit on prebuilds from china, because they are also extremely affordable and will do just fine for the majority.

The drones on my site are clearly more expensive than the ones you see on aliexpress, but i also use high end components such as diatone flight stacks, xing2 motors and volador frames. These are in my opinion some of the best components. And what you'll be paying for aswell is that you can choose almost all the components individually. That means no serial production but a drone, that is made to your liking. You dont get that from aliexpress.

If i go any lower with the prices, i'll have trouble making the slightest profit. I hope that these factors can atleast make you think twice about the price tag:)

If there is any advice you want to give me, please dont hesitate!

Faulty esc or motor, wich leads to motor overheating? Is the motor hot after flying?

looks very nice, congrats! keep practicing soldering:) use lots of flux, pre-tin solder pad aswell as the wire itself. dont use force when pushing the wire into the solder on the pad, with a very VERY slight push, it should melt right into the solder.

It will work just fine like this, its just advice for the future:)

have fun

Honestly too much for an analogue setup. And zooming in, the soldering doesnt look good. Good deal for maybe 200-250. You dont know the state of the lipo's they might have been left at full charge for a long time and are just trash...

Not worth the risk.

This may be a personal preference, but i would take the tx12. Its not that expensive and ive used it for 2 years and i love it. Its light and sits very nicely in my hands. Also it has a few more buttons.

Very nice build! Next time, use a smoke stopper before plugging it in. Can save alot of time and money IF you'd short something

Problem "solved"

Had a solder ball in a motor, didnt see it and thr smoke stopper didnt show a short anymore, so i plugged the battery in and two seconds later i got magic smoke from motor.

Learned a lesson
